After 5 matches its now only Chelsea and Liverpool with 100% records after Watford were beaten at home by Manchester United.West Ham are off the bottom of the table after gaining 3 points in a comfortable away win.
Although its still early in the season, both Huddersfield and Cardiff look like relegation certainties already.
This weekends fixtures(Thai times)....
SATURDAY
6.30pm : Fulham v Watford
9pm : Burnley v Bournemouth,Cardiff v Manchester City,Crystal Palace v Newcastle,Leicester v Huddersfield,Liverpool v Southampton,Manchester Utd v Wolves.
11.30pm : Brighton v Spuds
Sunday sees three London teams in action with the derby between West Ham and Chelsea kicking off at 7.30pm Thai.
Arsenal are at home in the late fixture which starts at 10pm Thai.

The Liverpool posters must fear jinxing their team if they get too full of themselves?
They should be pleased I don't support their mob because the sports teams I support don't usually do that well.

Re: English Premier League 2018/19
Yesterday saw another great performance by West Ham as they gained a point vs Chelsea. The defence had obviously had a good talking to by Pellegrini and faired much better than last week against the toffees and closed a lot of gaps. The big disappointment was Arnautovich was injured, had he been on the pitch West Ham might well have secured all three points. What was noticeable last night is the team is looking much more coherent than last season and their performance bodes well for the upcoming season but of course we have Christmas on it's way and the mighty Hammers have a nasty habit of eating a bit too much xmas pudding and dropping like a stone, we hope and pray it'll be a bit different this season under the new management. Fingers crossed...

The weekends results...
Fulham 1 Watford 1
Burnley 4 Bournemouth 0
Cardiff 0 Man City 5
Crystal Palace 0 Newcastle 0
Leicester 3 Huddersfield 1
Liverpool 3 Southampton 0
Man Utd 1 Wolves 1
Brighton 1 Spuds 2
West Ham 0 Chelsea 0
Arsenal 2 Everton 0
So now Liverpool clear at the top and now the only side with a 100% record.
I had Watford down as relegation contenders at the start of the season but Javier Garcia has made them a decent unit together and they will have no worries on that score.Fulham, too, should be OK.They were terrible for the first 20 minutes and could have been 3 down but they gradually got a toehold in the game.Second half they took the game to Watford and were the better side and probably deserved their equaliser from Mitrovic.
I've seen Wolves 3 times now and have been very impressed. They deserved their point at Old Trafford and I wouldnt say 7th place in the Premiership would be beyond them.United very disjointed.Lucky they have de Gea....Shaws excellent form has been a big plus for them so far this season.
Chelsea dominated possession against the Hammers but West Ham had two excellent opportunities to win the game.In the first half from Antonio and,in the second half,a glaring miss from Yarmolenko.
West Ham played very well and I thought both Fabianski and Rice were their star men.Yarmolenko, too, had a good game but will be remembered for his miss.
Pellegrini is a good manager and will easily steer West Ham into mid-table.
Fulham 1 Watford 1
Burnley 4 Bournemouth 0
Cardiff 0 Man City 5
Crystal Palace 0 Newcastle 0
Leicester 3 Huddersfield 1
Liverpool 3 Southampton 0
Man Utd 1 Wolves 1
Brighton 1 Spuds 2
West Ham 0 Chelsea 0
Arsenal 2 Everton 0

I think I'm going to start betting on Liverpool. That will probably jinx them.
I understand the way this tribalism works is that if I support the wonderful Toffees, I'm supposed to be cursing the neighbouring team.
As I don't have the necessary voodoo doll, I'll try and curse them with some betting. In my experience that too often works. I'm not Thai based so it's all legal for me.

GT93: Chelsea at home against Liverpool this weekend although Everton - Fulham at Goodison is the game of the round.
GT93: Yes.I think $5 on Liverpool will do nicely. I'll put that on shortly.

Re: English Premier League 2018/19
The mighty Whammers excelled tonight showing Man Utd the way forward pretty much from the kick off. West Ham's defence was still very patchy in the beginning but fortunately Lukaku and Martial were playing well below par with Lukaku being dispossessed like a Sunday league player. Mourhino still appears to be in denial, he blames everyone, linesman and referee, everyone in fact other than himself. A strange decision was a start to the second half with no change from Man Utd, back in the days of Chelski we would have expected at least two subs, does he have that much faith in his playing team or has he lost his nerve? Significantly when he did eventually substitute one of the players he took off was Pogba, has the relationship soured beyond repair? All in all, West Ham were the much better side keeping possession and showing fluidity, things bode well for the upcoming season and I wouldn't be surprised to see a top 5 finish, a well deserved 3 - 1 win.

With regard to Mourinho's ongoing struggle with his team of over-inflated egos, I hear he's been making inquiries about Stephen Dobbie.
https://www.bbc.com/sport/football/45630356
"Stephen Dobbie may be in his sporting dotage, but Queen of the South's veteran striker can currently claim to be the sharpest marksman in Europe.
The 35-year-old has scored 21 goals in 13 games in all competitions this season, including three hat-tricks.
That gives him a strike rate of 1.62 goals per game - better than anyone across the top tiers of the continent's 55 Uefa countries, and some of the biggest stars in world football."

Crikey, I've just read that Lukaku is valued at €100,000,000, maybe he was just having an off day....

Wouldn't have ANYTHING to do with the fact that none of the other European strikers get to play against that worldwide joke "THE SCOTTISH GOALKEEPER" every week
