Fort William bans their teenage 'ultra' fans unless they're accompanied by a parent.

Fort William ban young supporters group from Claggan Park over ‘unacceptable behaviour’

Following unacceptable behaviour of The Ultras supporters group over a number of games this season we have taken the decision to ban this group from home games. They will be able to gain entry individually if accommpanied by a parent.

https://www.pressandjournal.co.uk/fp/sp ... behaviour/

The parochial Peeandjay is typically light on any content so just how bad are these kids?

Why the mini ultras of Fort William finally got the boot

Comprising about 30 lads aged around 14-16, they wanted to step up the volume of noise they make from one of the club’s two tiny grandstands, so they launched a crowdfunding appeal for a trumpet and drum. It was partly successful – the drum duly appeared, and has had the living daylights beaten out of it ever since.

https://inverness-newsandviews.co.uk/20 ... -the-boot/

I am thinking about crowdfunding some vuvuzelas for the poor wee souls brave enough to make a noise among the sleet, snow and stag nonsense.

Southend Utd also in serious trouble ..their case adjourned until .. Oct 28 th .. after last weeks defensive disply im.hoping their negioator can plug the holes better to avoid them going out ov business as well... shame as definate 6 points in the bag for Scunny if they dont go bust 555

Shekels... how apropos.

Why doesn't Bale take a pay cut? He's a borderline has-been already. Marginally over the hill at 31, more prone to injuries (again) and recently hasn't had all that much playing time. Or is it the low-mileage aspect that looks so attractive here? Maybe after the loan is over and his over-inflated salary hasn't been matched by goals?

Would you take a pay cut, no chance it's a signed and sealed contract with a great payout and at his age will be the last one. No one can fault him on sticking his heels in nowadays employers are too good at breaking contracts and reducing salaries, he obviously has a well written contract with little room to negotiate well done to him lucky lucky Barsteward

^ I guess. He's a (soon to be) EPL superstar with a nonsense-hot agent after all and not simple oilfield trash that's gone past their sell-by date.

But it is a tad disconcerting that a single 'employees' wages roughly equates to half of the market value of the 'company' he works for.

Gonna drop me a line to Shell later...

"Dear Sir or Madam,

I think it would be mutually beneficial that you employ me as soon as possible.

I hope you can agree to my request for a modest stipend of only US$7.4 billion/week.

Yours grabbingly,

Etc., etc.."

Wrong thread. Leeds fans dont read this one any more. One of my staff who supports Harrogate told me about your comment.

You should search out one of the many EPL threads if you want to comment on the best team in Yorkshire (until Sheff U beat us next week)
