I think you'll find the same sponsors that fork out to have the menfolk carry their name on their shirts are contractually bound to have their names proudly displayed on the ladies shirts as well. Maybe it rankles some that the ladies game is getting more bandwidth commensurate with the QUALITY and PROFESSIONALISM that some of the overpaid blokes frequently forget to bring to their game.

Yes, you're right. Even Everton's ladies sponsors distance themselves from their male underachievers.

Despite the Everton ladies thrid from bottom of the FAWSL, I guess it's simply ,. "...it rankles some that the ladies game is getting more bandwidth commensurate with the QUALITY and PROFESSIONALISM that some of the overpaid blokes frequently forget to bring to their game."... and there's something in the water at Goodison.

#-o congrats to the Mackams :^o

It was getting a bit stale having our U21 play your first team in the Johnsons Paint Trophy

Does that mean you get to play in FA cup 3rd round ......... that will be a rarity

Good series on Netflix called "Sunderland 'til I Die". Only two seasons that captured their double-dip. Although no filming was done for this season just completed, I wonder if this will inspire the long-awaited third?

Hearts took Rangers to extra time before a quick one-two saw the latter scoop the Scottish Cup for the 34th time. Was dreading that going to penalties like earlier in Seville.

Next year FIFA has its sheila world cup tournament in New Zealand. My brother, a keen local football follower, tells me FIFA is installing dozens more electrical sockets in his club team's changing rooms. Apparently it's for the sheilas' grooming purposes.

They're also significantly upgrading two football fields at his club's ground and bunging in night lighting at various grounds. Despite this effort I imagine the conditions will still be a bit challenging for the sheilas.
