Coventry up at the Posh (1-2). Scunthorpe going for a point at Exeter (a long bus trip for the Scunthorpe players).

That was a long way to go for Scunthorpe to lose a game.

Don't they have scooters or bicycles to get about from village to village?

Indeed a bloody long old trip Scunny to Exeter .. did it a few times in my younger hazy crazy days of residing in blighty.

Re the game .. no comment ..except WE ARE DOOMED for the NL and even the most ardent Iron fans are starting to see it as nailed on now.

For me Iron from afar i shall remain a loyal fan regardless where they play .. my only worry is administration and oblivion Ala Bury Macc town etc .

Is the Bury, Macclesfield issue a problem for Scunthorpe, DM?

Errrr daft question alert .. my beloved footy club going out ov business vis administration would obviously be a problem TO ME .. being relegated which is just about a nailed on cert doesnt worry me .. rather nit but mi old buďdies who attend without fail.rain snow or blow also agree uts not the end ov the world n some new places to vist ..alas folding would be devastating.

Hope that helps Ernie

Yes, I'm known for asking the stupid questions at work and everyone rolls their eyes. :D

What I'm trying to determine is whether there a risk that Scunthorpe will go into administration in the near future or go belly up like Macclesfield and Bury did?

Yes it is a real possibilty ..

Peter Swann is the club chairman ..whom.i might add for too many reasons to list is disliked intensley by Scuuny fans

Hope that helps

That's the ticket! The Zulus are coming over the barricades but DM and Earnest have fixed bayonets and will repel. I'm a little worried about Alan after yesterday, though. Maybe I should call or pop over and sit with him.

I reckon you, and more particularly DM, will need Jack Hawkins, Michael Caine, and especially James Booth, et al to stand any chance.

Jack Hawkins, the skipper in The Cruel Sea? What I'd give to have that man on my team.
