after last season always thought Boro would be in the mix again this year .. some big clubs in the Championship and very difficult to get out of at the right end .

Dont expect them to win the Championship as they sold a lot of good players & did not bring many in.
They should make the playoffs at least.
They will need to strengthen the squad at the next round of transfers.

Tony Pulis has more than 40 million in received transfers with hardly anything spent on bringing players in.
That is if Steve Gibson allows him to spend it.

Perusing the L1 table i was thinking looks like a possibility Sunderland may not run away with this league n get promoted at the first time of asking as many predicted .. theyve been there or ther abouts since the season kicked off but by no means a certanty to go up.

GFM names a new formation for SUFCs trip to Wycombe today ,, a few lingering injuries the main casualties being..

Humphries headache
Wilcox bruised ear
Agogo broken finger nail
Borthwick Jackon too tired
Horsfield its my ball and im taking it home .

The futures no so bright with a hint of ginger

Why you think this should irritate me is strange as i have actually placed a wager fro Scunny to go down this season .. unlike Emerton NIL the Iron are scoring for fun but also so are the teams they are playing , the irons defending is shocking ..the choice of SFMcall was a major foopar by chairman Swann and im sure he will realize that soon...in the meantime we continue to slide down the table into the relegation zone :D :D

Bhajis are okay for breakfast. Bit of sweet mango pickle on the side. Is that wrong? Madras makes a great toast topper too :D

Accrington, the new kids on the block, seem to be doing a fairly decent emulation of Tottenham. A creditable 4th in their respective leagues.

Peterhead are also tearing it up, 2 points behind league leaders. They also got through to the 3rd round of the Scottish Cup.

Aberdeen not so hot. The Dons missed an opportunity to improve when they lost 2-1 to league leaders and unstoppable train Hearts. At home to Rangers next where the visitors have been known to struggle at Pittodrie.

Fort William have conceded 15 goals against 1 in their last couple of outings... at home! Their manager has commented that there's "some room for improvement" but has allegedly been on the phone to some red-headed chap down in Lincolnshire somewhere for what's been called 'expert advice'.

Leeds slip sliding away. All the way back to the top of the Championship table. :D :D
But it's tight at top , with the top 6 teams being separated by only 2 points.
Anyway, on to Saturday and yet another TV appearance for the mighty whites when they take on Nottingham Copse.
Another 3 points, please.

It's match day again. Leeds United live, obviously, at 23:30 tonight.
GMT tomorrow, so don't forget to turn your cocks black after watching Leeds beat a collection of trees from Nottingham.

Do not have to turn your clocks back to watch Boro beat Derby at 1830 hrs live on Sky TV (Thai time) & remain on top of the Championship.

Can turn your clocks back (mentally tomorrow).

It should be an interesting weekend of matches with a lot of teams playing each other where there are only 6 points separating the top half of the table.
