Well well well

2 overs to go in the day and the Poms 3/220 and the Aussies take the new ball
BANG starc strikes in the first new ball over, Root gone on 83 4/228
BANG hazzelwood strikes 2nd over of the new ball, Bairstow gone. 5/233. Was he sent in as a night watchman???
From a mediocre day for Australia to a top day .

England all out, before lunch for 346.
Again, players getting starts & then getting out.
Looks the sort of wicket that Australia will intend to bat once on.

Apparently Smith's Catch was brilliant , We called them screamers in Oz, but I understand that word in UK means Poms who follow cricket or something .... 5555555

good news for smith
reported

Smith created another slice of history by becoming the second-fastest player to reach 6,000 Test runs — second only to non other than Sir Donald Bradman.

Oz will collapse in the First Session tomorrow to make a game of it and to push it out to Day 5, to finally fill the SCG

With all these runs and no wickets, surely the SCG must also be online for receiving 3 demerit points ??

Barney , did they borrow your old Flymo ???

Ah the old flymo. My brother in law had one and used to tie a rope and do the slope on his land towards the creek.
No 2nd prize for guessing what happened. Rope broke and the flymo went for a swim. Idiot, lucky the electric cord came out before it reached the drink.
Now don't try and blame the wicket for the poms not getting wickets. They are just not any good at bowling.
Tomorrow the new ball not long after play resumes can be the only thing to halt the Aussies pushing hard for 350.
There will be a result at this great ground.
