Aussie humour came to the fore last night when Cronulla supporters attended the cut throat preliminary final of the ARL.
Some years ago, the late Jack Gibson, an outstanding NRL coach in his day was quoted as saying '"waiting for Cronulla to win the grand final was like leaving the porch light on for Harold Holt". Not to miss the irony, many Sharks fans turned up in wetsuits with signs of Holt saying: "I'm coming home." Good luck to all the sharks fans out there next Sunday.

TT, I was in 2 minds yesterday before watching the game. The thought of hoping the Cowboys would get over the line, but they were tired from the previous weeks game and lost, and my heart was with the Cronulla Sharks. Well done sharks and they will meet the Canberra Raiders in the grand final and win. Humour, got me with that one, maybe Leanne Edelstein in the pink Lamborghini will turn up.
