Last night......Leicester City 1 Tottenham Hotspur 6
Harry Kane scored four times as Tottenham produced another superb performance to sweep aside Leicester City.
Though Chelsea ended their Premier League title hopes last week, there was no let-up from Mauricio Pochettino's side, who won for the 25th time in the league this season.
Kane helped himself to two predatory goals from close range before rattling in twice from 20 yards in the last few minutes to move to 26 league goals for the campaign - two clear of Everton's Romelu Lukaku.
Son Heung-min also scored fine goals either side of half-time, volleying in Dele Alli's masterful pass, and bending in from 25 yards after a swift counter-attack.
Leicester, who are yet to make a decision on manager Craig Shakespeare's future, played their part in an entertaining game.
Ben Chilwell momentarily sparked hopes of a fightback by making it 2-1, but the Foxes ultimately had no answer to this in-form Tottenham side, who recorded their biggest away win in the Premier League.

So,only next Sundays matches to go for this EPL season.....all games kick off at 9pm Thai.
Just when I thought our chance had passed, you go and save the best for last.

[quote="stattointhailand"]And with 7 finishing positions now officially confirmed(Chelsea/Spurs/Man Utd/Everton/Hull/Middlesbro/Sunderland) the current standing in the predictor comp are (lowest points win)

Statts 10pts
Zid 27pts
Skinner 30 pts
747 19 pts
Panmotor 19 pts
DM 30 pts &
442 (magazine) 24 pts
Mat80 10 pts*

* subject to a stewards enquiry to take place on 21 May at 17:00 where a fine/points increase may be issued due to late submission of selections (after the first round of matches had already been played) [-X Nitpicker! The inclusion of all or any of Mourinho, Zidine or you, on the Committee, would constitute strong grounds for appeal, on the clearly evident grounds of bias! :-"  [-(

Note:- Statts & Mat80 were the only ones to correctly predict Chelsea to win the league
Note:- Statts was the only one to predict Blunderland would get relegated
Note:- Mat80 was the only one to predict Everton to finish 7th[/quote
Note & yet to be decided:- Mat80 was the only one to predict Arsenal would miss out on the top four, AND that Wenger would not be the Manager, come the start of next season.]
[/b]Last minute hindsight predictions, as regards Wenger's stewardship, invited; submissions close upon start of last round of EPL matches tomorrow.

With all the excitement building up for todays FA Trophy Final at Wembley between Macclesfield Town and York City :-s expats could be forgiven for forgetting that today is the last day of the English Premier League season ! :badteeth:
All the matches kick off at 9pm Thai time. The only issues to be decided are of which two of Manchester City,Liverpool and Arsenal grab the last two available Champions League slots.
City only need a point at Watford and with Liverpool at home to already relegated Middlesborough, its odds on that Arsenal are going to miss out on Champions League football for the first time in 21 years.

Arsenal v Everton
Burnley v West Ham United
Chelsea v Sunderland
Hull v Tottenham Hotspur
Leicester City v Bournemouth
Liverpool v Middlesborough
Manchester United v Crystal Palace
Southampton v Stoke City
Swansea v West Brom
Watford v Manchester City

Other things that might be of interest though......

With just six points separating Southampton, in eighth, and 16th-placed Watford, several teams also have the opportunity to improve their league position - and increase their share of Premier League prize money.
Burnley, for instance, could finish as low as 17th, earning £7.6m in prize money, or as high as 11th, which would be worth £19m - a difference of £11.4m.

A day for goodbyes

Sunderland, Middlesbrough and Hull are all leaving the Premier League after finishing in the bottom three, but there will be individual farewells too.
Chelsea captain John Terry is set to end his 22-year stay at Stamford Bridge by playing his 717th game for the club.
At Watford, manager Walter Mazzarri will take charge for the final time, with his departure having been confirmed on Wednesday.
A number of other players may yet be turning out for their clubs for the final time, with the futures of Wayne Rooney, Ross Barkley, Romelu Lukaku, Michael Keane and Gylfi Sigurdsson among those in doubt.
One question that will not be answered tomorrow concerns the future of Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger - who is out of contract this summer
Just when I thought our chance had passed, you go and save the best for last.

You'd have thought after losing so many games this season he would have kept a better check where he left it :-"

A decent last nights entertainment with 37 goals......highlights...
Koscielnys tackle on Valencia on 14 minutes......maybe goodison will comment later.
John Terry going off in the 26th minute for the last time as a Chelsea player (26 is his shirt number).....a nice touch.
Goals, goals and more goals from The Spuds,Citeh and Chelski.
Liverpool finally achieving the breakthrough against Middlesborough in first half injury time.
A Manchester United team, including 5 youngsters given their debuts, thoroughly deserving their win over Crystal Palace and what a debut goal from Harrop.
Flicked through a few of the games all night and found it very enjoyable.

Finally, there has been a request for a Mr.Brian Davis from Amphur Phen near Udon Thani who suffered a sad loss last night. His family say he is not talking and his taken down pictures of his childhood sweethearts Annie Walker,Betty Turpin,Emily Bishop and Deidre Barlow off his bedroom wall.
They ask if anything on Udon Map can be done to cheer him up ?
Certainly......heres a picture of Rosie Webster who came through both the Coronation Street and Manchester United youth academies......enough to stimulate lazy, useless, overpaid Crystal Palace players ?......well,probably not ! ;)
Rosie Webster.jpg
Till the next time, its goodnight from her and goodnight from me.......

Thank you, Zidane. One thing for certain about Palace fans is the need for a sense of humour.
From the photo, I thought there was hope in having an ugly defence, alas no.
Feeling down? No. Survival has to be the first priority and the hope the Club can gradually strengthen, although never perhaps able to compete with the loadsamoney lot.
And I'm cheered that news is surfacing that Palace has actually bid for the twin strikers Rosie Webster.

News leaked from last nights enquiry by the predictorleague committee seems to suggest that a SEVEN (7) point addition will be made to Mat80's score. Committee chairthing Statto commented that after taking into account that the first round of matches had already taken place a TWO (2) pt addition was deemed to be fair to the rest of the competitors who ALL got their selections in BEFORE a ball had been kicked. League secretary Statto added that given the number of transfers made or revealed during that extra week a further FIVE (5) pt addition was to be made.

The league tables are currently being scrutinised by the FIFA fair play team and their completely unbiased results are expected to be revealed later today
