Stones; Delph; Lallana; Townsend Wilshere &, double ugh [-o< [-o< ROONEY! (NB. Rooney 2 goals. Defoe 15 goals
Am I missing something?). Unless England's Manager is to be given a chance to change his mind, (perhaps as a bribe, aimed at encouraging England to remain a member of the Euro 'family'
), suggest the English FA save money by reducing the final squad to just 20 players.

I think it will be 2 midfielders and 1 forward who will miss out which,if it happens,will be very unfair on the likes of Rashford as Rooney could be drafted back as a midfielder. 
Wilshere,what on earth has he done to be called up ? Delph,Henderson,Lallana all pretty mediocre but Townsend has been one of the shining lights for Newcastle since he signed for them....not that that's saying too much,I guess.
Cahill and Stones included at the back as theres no-one else....whats the alternative ? Joleon Lescott ?

In my humble opinion John Stones couldn't even be relied on to defend Masada, let alone a goal 
Smalling and Cahill are both useless, but are all we appear to have (unless woy was prepared to look outside the prem). The only hope we have got is that most other countries are also struggling at the heart of their defense (even Belgium since VK got injured). One trick pony has had a good spell at the toon, probably because everyone had forgotton that he only knew one trick
Alli is both a breath of fresh air and a disaster waiting to happen (a la Mr Beckham), and Wiltshire Delph and Barkley have played nowhere near enough football to be included (the later having spent plenty of time on the pitch and still managed to play nowhere near enough football. Forget taking Sturridge unless Woy has managed to get hold of some reinforced nailvarnish, as otherwise he will break a nail in the warm up and spend the month sitting in the stands

For England,I am personally delighted that young Rashford has made the squad ! =D> Also pleased that Woy has picked Sturridge who,although injury prone,can be top class on his day.
England have selected 5 forwards but I think a role will be found for Rooney in midfield.
Of those who missed out,Delph was already ruled out by injury and both Drinkwater and Townsend can consider themselves a shade unlucky.
Wilshere seems to have been a promising player for about 6 years and injured for 5 of them and Henderson has been out for a while and never seems to cut it at this level anyway....both he and Wilshere were lucky to make the final squad,imo.
Anyway,there is plenty discuss at the Udon Map Chardonnay awards later this week where it is hoped there will be a live videolink with Jose Mourinho direct from Manchester.

If there is still any space left for sentiment in football, I'm pleased to see Ledley included in the Welsh squad. He missed the Cup Final with leg injury, but reportedly should be fit to play some part for Wales.

England play Wales at 8pm Thai but the other two England matches are at 2am in the morning over here.Wales also play Slovakia at 11pm Thai.
All Northern Irelands games kick off at 11pm in Thailand.
The Republic of Ireland play Belgium at 8pm and Sweden at 11pm over here.
The remaining group games for Wales and the ROI are at 2am.
Certainly England v Wales and the Republic of Ireland v Belgium are at decent watching times.
Meanwhile for any English fans wanting to dress up as Crusaders in Nutty Park or Soi Sampan be careful.....

Sadly it's gone T*TS up already last night as violence erupted between England fans and locals in Marseille before a ball has even been kicked in the competition. Riot Police and undercover officers with stun guns were deployed. Scores of people injured, more than 100 arrested or deported and some England fans later jailed. Some 70,000 England fans – many without tickets – are expected to be in city over the weekend. Many without tickets? I would suggest the majority of that number will be without tickets. Hopefully tomorrow's game against Russia will be without incident but with their hard core nutters I doubt it.

I want England to put on some decent displays and play to their strengths which is Kane and either Sturridge or Vardy upfront with Dele Alli playing in the no.10 role just behind the two strikers.
If it means Rooney has to play in midfield or is dropped altogether,then so be it.
I just hope England don't scrape through in 3rd place in the group then are eliminated on penalties in the last 16 after a dour 0-0 draw.
But good luck to all the Home Countries in the competition.....great to see Northern Ireland,the Republic of Ireland and Wales in there.
For the eventual winners,hard to look beyond Germany,France and,possibly,Spain imo.

I just hope England don't scrape through in 3rd place in the group then are eliminated on penalties in the last 16 after a dour 0-0 draw.
But good luck to all the Home Countries in the competition.....great to see Northern Ireland,the Republic of Ireland and Wales in there.
For the eventual winners,hard to look beyond Germany,France and,possibly,Spain imo.
Just when I thought our chance had passed,you go and save the best for last.
