Funny old ladder. Any team on the top 8 who drops a bit of form and loses two in a row quickly goes from hero to zero. All top 8 teams really need to take care of things when they play the lower sides. Geelong - Sydney massive game this week as the loser could drop down to 8th if other favourites get up. Not the time to drop a game for the Scray now that the Tiges having nothing to lose and nothing to play for. Always a danger game for us!

Was a good weekend for the dogs and the swannies but no time to relax as any loss and you're back down in the bottom half of the 8. Swanies v Hawks at the little G on Thursday and the Scray off the Cairns for some tropical fun in the sun against Gold Coast on Saturday. Blues v Eagles at the big G on Sunday - those flat track bullies choke a bit when they have to leave Perth Macca - Blues might fix em up! :D

Every win is a good win when things are so tight Macca. I'm not a fan of having to go to play a home game in Cairns. I reckon it would be bloody hard playing footy in the tropics. We'll see how we are affected over the next few weeks.
The big let down is North. They can't buy a win after getting 10 in a row. Best of luck to the Blues tomorrow - they might need a bit.
And where is old mate GT93? Been a bit quiet on this thread without him.

Expecting big things from the Blues this weekend, need to shut those blo.dy South Melbourne sydneysiders up.
You never see them out supporting but by crikey they carry on.

I recall a Cockie telling me once that we dont need to go to the actual game to support them etc..lol

More at the Swans last game than at Origin 3.

Swans need a huge win as % is going to be critical in the last few games.

Blues got close to the Swans I think they will have to do a lot better than today to be a finals chance.

Down to my last 2 nails.

Didnt expect to still be in 2nd spot this evening.

Saints did well ooops Arjarn

Bottom line to anyone in the Top 8 or nudging it.

Goals mean % and missed oportunities could cost a side an early exit.

Freo next week. Hoping we win it first then pile on the %

Terrible night for the Dogs with the result, but more with the injuries. Clean break through the tibia and fibula for Mitch Wallace (car crash stuff), anterior cruciate for Jack Redpath, which means 12 months and a hammy for Dale Morris, which is hopefully not too bad. Add those three to the already long injury list and we'll be sending the U/16s down to Geelong next week. Well done to the Sainters they deserved their win. All over for the doggies for this year :(
