Ordinary game and two pretty ordinary sides. Swannies walk in the park next week. The other Vics, the Hawks, will wipe the floor with the crow eaters too.c

GT you might want to keep an eye out for the youtube upload of this show, Open Mike, airing tonight in Fox Footy. All about your mate Cocaine Wayne and his extra curricula with his vice captains Mrs. I always wonder how this bloke can show his face in public.

Thanks marjamlew. Other blokes have been known to go behind friends' backs. In Carey's case he was remarkably blind to the likely consequences. I should think he's now grown up a lot the hard way.

I watched the Stevens interview and the Carey response. It's strange to see this come up over a decade later. I was living in Melbourne when Carey did the dirty. I'm still pleased Carey is being rehabilitated. I thought both Stevens and Carey spoke well.

Stevens was on the same wave length on Pagin as Carey was in Carey's book. They both thought Denis Pagin was absolutely fantastic.

After last weeks disappointment the dummy has been replaced and the toys are back in the cot. I think the Hawks are just too good a side to go out in straight sets and will take care of the crows. Harder to pick a winner in the other game but hope the depleted Sydney side have a win and maintain a bit of UM interest for another week. I bet our WA team supporters are sitting back and just hoping that the teams playing this weekend punch the crap out of each other in a couple of close, tight and hard games and I wouldn't mind seeing that either.

Much as I appreciate the posts from our sandgroper posters, I don't want to see a sandgroper - sandgroper grand-final. Hang on, that would be better than the Hawks being in the grand-final. So go the Crows and any team, even Carlton, when playing the Hawks.

Hawks back on track, will be too good for Freo, Eagles will be good enough for GF., but this time they will have to travel. All looks good for a ripper game.DU

Perth - Centre of the footy universe - for 30 hours at least.
Hard to pick a winner tonight. Hawthorn were mighty impressive last week and Fremantle are super primed with everything going their way this season up until now. Hawthorn by about 4 goals.
Most of the pundits are into West Coast Eagles by 40 plus tomorrow evening but I reckon this might be the close one. Weagles by a point.
And in the real footy go the Williamstown lads against Box Hill in the VFL grand final on Sunday.

Should be a good laugh.

Can we deduce they are your 2nd (pretty safe bet) team, Lew? :-k

Would have come in very handy over many years. :D

My take away was that they barely kept ahead of a pretty nervous, and poor, Shockers team.

Lyon sighted at Centrelink first thing Monday morning? :-"

Jack - Fitzroy were my second team and that didn't end well. Hawks, last week and tonight, were just great to watch from a neutral viewpoint.
Hope Weagles give it to North tomorrow night as I am still dark on North throwing their round 23 match.
Don't think Hawthorn can be beaten at the G either way.

Sticking to my prediction that the Weagles will be no push overs after they trash Nth. This time they have to travel, so being a Victorian I have to go for the Hawks in a very close encounter. DU.

Please not the Hawks. I'm very keen for the Eagles to win this one. I think they can.

The Hawks have lost quite a few games this year and I don't think they are as formidable as in previous years.

There was always a doubt that Freo would get enough points to beat a good team at this time of year. Ross Lyon will be back at the drawing board in the coming weeks.

Go the Eagles.
