Now if this wern't Thailand and gambling wasn't illegal, I'd 'ave won a "packet" on the fact that BM was going to be the first sensible reply.
Can you confirm the two "half scores" please BM.

So you think there's a chance that Kanu, Yakubu and Obafemi Martins might not be fit for the whole of the tournament then BM

You assume too much statto. [-X

Australia will actually score 3 in regular time, plus extra, and extra extra time - as will the sheep shaggers.

However, in the shootout, Kylie will score 1, as will Rolf Harris.

Peter Jackson (disguised as Gollum, Bilbo Baggins and Gandalf) will shoot 3 times for NZ, for no result. Sadly, or happily (depending on which side of the Tasman Sea you reside), Dame Kiri te Kanawa and Russell Crow (despite being red carded 3 times for violence during the tournament) will also miss the net.

However, beating the Kiwis will give the Socceroos only minor pleasure (having done it so many times in the past). The sweetest victory will be in the semis, where we beat the diving, cheating Azzurri after 3 of the barstools are ejected for blatant over-acting, and poor Greg Louganis impersonations. :D

As an after-thought, where and when is this minor sporting event occurring? :-k

After seeing the fiasco at a practice match between North Korea and Nigeria on CNN this morning I predict the whole event will turn into a blood bath.

Have to agree there i can see the South African security forces being rushed off there tootsies for a large part of the time depending on how results go and the general organisation surrounding each fixture ref to crowd segregation and how much the locals want apart of the action.
I hope im wrong but got a gut feeling somethings gonna go badly wrong.,,,,, No probs with the grub over there as Chern Chim pies will be served at all the games.

Thought this would be about the North Koreans practicing their taekwondo kicks on the Nigerians and not about gate crashers. Hope we can see a friendly between the North and South Koreans. That might be interesting. 8-[

My attempt to elicit comment (windup?) with my prediction of a USA win over England went unnoticed. In reality, a Final Four of Brazil, Argentina, Spain and England seems most likely. England is my pick. :D
