Just had a panic attack. Noticed that both my goalkeepers are not playing this wed. I never consider changing the keeper. Too involved in goal scoring strategy, but that doesn't always work.

I am learning more about individual players though. A good learning curve this fantasy league.

mmmmmmm

Interesting to see those that took notice of the "WARNING" about this set of fixtures and those that didn't.

So who is sitting there now thinking ......."If only I'd changed things a couple of weeks ago, I'd have someone on my bench who could come in for a "rested" player in my team?

DON'T SAY YOU WEREN'T WARNED :-"

Look on the bright side, you could have had Mascherano coming off the bench (or is that going to the bench !!)

Just checked my squad. 4 players either banned or doubtful plus another 2 possibly out due to the weather. Leaving me without a full team again. Oh happy days.

Well wouldn't you just "adam & eve" it !!
Spent too much time doing non footie related things over xmas, and completely forgot to sort the team out for this week  . Last weeks matches finishing on Mon night, and this weeks starting on Tues didn't help matters. I was far too annoyed at Ferguson and Benitez, and their "Rotation policy" (now refered to as screwing-up statto's fantacy team policy), to do anything on Tues, and when I checked on Wed, half the games had already been played
Then lo and behold, what happens ........ the team that I picked for last weeks games get 72 points (and I still had Johnson my spare defender (6pts) and Hunt my spare midfielder (15pts) sitting on the bench)
Perhaps I should just leave it as it is and not make any more transfers for the rest of the season :-k

Yes, it didn't go unnoticed. Well done Statto, :^o :^o
Plus you still have 2 players who can score points in this round of matches.

I offered her a "permanant position" a couple of weeks ago, but she declined, saying she liked to keep her "options" open, and that she didn't want to be "tied down". She suggested that we just "suck it and see" until Easter when she has a couple of days "compassionate leave" booked (something about attending a cave opening). She did promise to "have the team in a safe position before then though" :-"

Good and bad news for me, with last nights cancellation. Still had quite a few players to hopefully score for me. The good news is, so did quite a few of the teams i was playing in H2H and would have probably overtaken my score.
The wife's not happy, top scorer in the league with 1119 points and languishing down in 10th place.
Expect this weekends FF to be a farce. Pot luck which matches are played.
Still doing OK in CYKI. 2nd in Thailand. The geezer in first place seems to have 4 teams in the top 12 places. How many Sarawut Jongketkorn can there be?

Wondering why Arsenal v Bolton was canceled? Weather related? Will it be rescheduled? I had Arseshaved soaped up and ready as my Captain and expected Vermaelen to garner me some points. Guessing it affected more than a few of us.

The pitch was OK Polehawk. Elf and safety laws dictated that the surrounding areas outside the stadium were not safe due to snow and ice.

Thanks, Galee. OK, that makes sense to cancel it but will it be rescheduled? Checked all of the remaining fixtures but don't see it but maybe it's too early. Hey, see they have a match scheduled at Bolton pitch in a few weeks. Maybe they could play a double-header (baseball term)? Nah, those poor guys would be dragging their butts if they did that.

At the moment I have 4 out of 15 players still in with a chance of playing this week. :(
Do I chase points with transfers for players that i hope will play, or do I just sit on my hands, (difficult for me when it comes to transfers) and give up on this week as a bad job?

Personally I would give this week up as a bad job.
I have changed my captain 3 times already.
5 games off and likely that,at least, the games at Wigan and City will not be played.
And why keep taking a 4 point hit only to find the match is postponed later.
You could end up with a 20 point hit and nothing in return, quite easily.
The matches will be played later.....probably the last week of the season where we could have over 20 fixtures to contend with !

at least everyone is in the same boat......but i would hate to be knocked out of the cup because of this game week, imo this cup week should be scrapped....i really want to win that digital camera and Everton Home Strip.

Couldn't keep my finger off the x'fer button. Took an 8pt hit to get 2 players in. Cost me 1 point in the end, so all in all quite happy that my squad is, I hope, a little bit better.
