Yes, 117 was a little bit better than the previous weeks score of 26.......consistency ?? :-k

Thanks to statto for the heads up about Hull,Everton,Stoke and Fulham players. They make up 6 of my current squad.Probably 1 will go this week although I'd like to get rid of Upson who has been a big disappointment so far.

Top 7 in the FU league is close........a green arrow for me into second spot, Galee slips just beneath me only 2 points in it, Chelsea Players let us both down, and i suspect Bullard has left Team Apollo.....Zid slides up also, as do the sick buffaloes who are not so sick anymore... highest scores to Stephen with 65 and Irish 'knickersoff' Alan with 64.......it is getting very very nerve racking....and i mean that... 8-[
H2H is close too...

bottom 7 no movemant....more prune juice needed.... :fart:

Another bad week for me. :( I was expecting it. The fixtures for the past 2 weeks not kind to my squad. Not very good forward planning on my part.
On the up side, winning my H2H was a big surprise. :D

Nobody more shocked than me this morning ........ seven points down after Sats games and only Bent (who I knew did nothing) and Dempsey (who I knew had a good game but didn't get any goals or assists) to go. Then I wake up this morning to find that they had got eight points between them, and I'd nicked it by one

Congrats to Ralph ........ Top of the December league =D>

zidane, we have a head to head this week. :D
your team for this week will be good to get points.
birmingham, chelsea, spurs, liverpool and bolton all at home.
only fulham playing away. oh ----.
i think i am going to be knocked off my perch at the top.
nevermind, it was getting lonely up there for so long.
great fun this fantasy football.
keeps me sane till i get over there again.

My H2H form is pretty poor.I'm 12th,at the moment,so dont get too concerned ! :D
In the FU League I was surprised I'd gone up to 4th but if I had 3 points less I'd be 7th,so very close.
Steve, you seem to be Liverpools best chance of winning a trophy this season....just like souey last year 8)

not had much internet access the last month or two.just spending 5 mins making a transfer so glad to be still in touch with the leaders.
stephen still going well followed by familiar faces mr.monkey, galilee, zidane, roy and ronnie.
at the bottom 747 is nearly 200 points adrift ! why is he finding this game so tough ? if he was manager of everton they would be in the blue square north in 5 seasons ! ha ha !

Yes, and a fat lot of good it's doing her. 11th out of 16. Doesn't help when some jammy blighter gets 3 bonus points for Dempsey to pip her by 1 point.

Logically, you would think that taking a 4point hit to get rid of Agbonlahore, who was playing Utd, and getting in Defoe, who was playing Wolves would be a good move. Was expecting a mega-points fest from Defoe so made him my captain.
Am I disappointed ?.

NO \:D/ \:D/

Well done Gabby

Galee, I left Shawcross on the bench and you just beat me, can't believe it! I also put in Defoe as my skipper, never again, lesson learnt.

By the way its bloody freezing here in London!

I agonized for a few days about getting in Defoe.....i saw a points fest just like everyone did....so glad the little person who lives in the back of my mind won me over.....Villa winning at OT....not since the 80's i think, so it seemed a easy bet..Changed Cap from Rooney at last minute also.....But i left Dunne on the bench...and sold Shawcross couple of weeks back for Cheryl Cole..who's done nothing since....did ok though...still got Fabs and Vemalon to go....'might' stay second but can't go top for sure.....still close in top 5.....those Sick Buffalos are creeping up from the rear..... 8-[ and they got a nice Auto Sub Coming...!!!!

Spare a thought for us bottom trawlers, i've been stuck in unlucky 13th position for what seems like forever, made 12th for a day the other week and got all excited but lost it by Monday. At one point I had 7 injuries that was just after I threw my wild card and players returned from International duty, horror! I also missed the double bubble  Nearly 200 points short of the leader now, ahem!

Next year maybe :-&

If they go into administration, do they get a points deduction this season, or at the start of next season?

I would think that something would actually have to have value before administration would apply :D
Actually there are rumors of them being taken over by a consortium of Asian businessmen (according to News of the World)
A consortium of Far East businessmen have put together a £1bn deal Full story: News of the World
Although 'consortium' is a stretch of the imagination - it is the bloke from the shop on the corner - and I believe he mentioned a few thousand Kip, rather than GBP. :D :D
