Just bought my ticket for the Autumn International at the Millenium Stadium, Cardiff. Wales vs Western Samoa - £15.

Great deal but will be a costly Friday night - Work til 2 then straight into Cardiff town for the beers before the game. Had to explain to the Thai wife why she wasn't going. It's drinking with the boys. :D

Chin up, the Rugby isn't all that bad, it's just that some naughty boys and girls got caught out. I still prefer it to football, far more entertaining.

More Tri Nations at the weekend readers, Wallabies to win (Wazza, Aardy, you've just got to trust me on this one).

Yes mate, but sadly they are the best in the World at the moment. Maybe we could sneak some knuckle dusters into there shoulder pads :D Giteau is a bit of a worry at the moment though. That dreadful kicking game against the Kiwi's gave them the winning try. We have to be patient while Deans bloods a few of the young lads and then we should see a difference. Let's hope the Gods are on your side tomorrow and we can win. By the way, my request for a cold night is looking good at the moment ;)

Only as good as their last game. You probably think I'm in La La Land but I hope the Wallabies win. Ain't gonna be much of a Tri Nations if the Boks get their way all the time.

Australia 25-32 South Africa

Like I said, only as good as their last game.

I wonder if Aardy asked for his money back?

Blimey, there can't be anywhere worse than being in an home stadium full of Australians and watching their national side lose.

I'll bet those Kiwis were cheering on the Spring Boks as well. A mate of mine at work shares a flat with members of the fush 'n' chups brigade, he told me how they were celebrating when Ricky relinquished the Ashes. [-X

Condensed highlights from yesterday's game. Impressive 3rd and 4th tries from the Boks IMHO. Liked Turner's try as well. Giteau worked hard from what little I could see.

If there's one thing this footage shows it's the confidence that the Boks have in themselves, they are setting the standard for world Rugby at the moment !

Yes, did you see that switch before the second(?) SA try? Absolute clockwork, went like a dream. How cold did it get that night?

Thanks Aardy, that was an interesting read. Not looking good for Deanes but he can't change his team too radically can he? It's a bit like the Martin Johnson thing a few months ago where he elected to retain and develop his core group of players (with the exception of Cipriani). Building a team takes time - mind you this is Deanes' second Tri Nations as Wallabies coach.
