The "English League's most promising managerial star." proven to be a bit of a "fake".
I respect QPR and the job the club is dong whilst QPR were winning, but as soon as they played a few better teams and lost 5 on the spin he jumps ship to a lower league where he (at worst) will lose about 6 games a season

Are you talking about Michael Beale going to Glasgow Rangers?

I note QPR were after Mark Robins this week.

Yes Earnest, the same guy that left Rangers in the lurch by following his boss Stevie G to Villa, then left Stevie G and Villa in the lurch by jumping at the chance to be a Number one at QPR rather than the number Two he had always been, and has now been forced to drop down to Scottish footie again before anyone realised that QPRs recent form probably had more than a bit to do with his lack of experience as a number one

Sorry, Statts, I got distracted.

Err, yes, QPR have been looking at Mark Robins this week. Not good for CCFC if he moves on.

Later, Westers watched the Messi docu on BBC iPlayer and said,

'Ossie Ardiles and Ricky Villa, I remember them'.

I was simply paraphrasing the English sporting media and pundits who reckon he's God's gift to footie. I had to Google the blaggard. Still can't tell him from Adam.

But isn't it strange that a few days after I mention him, all the UM Englander "experts" chime in with an "opinion"?

Sorry, I meant predictable, not strange.

Yeah, sorry about that, I can come across as a 'know it all'. :D

I saw a Coventry Live website thing about QPR going after Mark Robins on the 6th so picked up on the Statts post yesterday.

Stand by, you have Wolves to play on Boxing Day then you travel to Man City on New Year's Eve.

Wolves could be a winner for you and lift Everton off 17th. As Tam's expert on everything football (and Soccer) I'd say the Toffees will go home with null points for the New Year's Eve game.
