Laos: Exercise Along the Mekong River

Post by Laan Yaa Mo » May 16, 2015, 8:47 pm

Some Viang Chan (Vientiane) females like to exercise beside the Mekong River every night. Here they are losing those extra pounds. I have seen this take place in Phayao, Thailand as well. I participated in the latter city much to my chagrin as the exercise made my heart beat too fast.

Later on that evening...

The exercise area is right across from the riverview night market.

Interesting. I have yet to spend a night in that pleasant town, but I have gone to Nong Khai five or six times.

Viang Chan (Vientiane)

I'll be taking the bus from Khon Kaen and stopping for the border crossing. Or, I might get there early and stay a few hours sightseeing and eating lunch at one of the riverside restaurants.

Well I'd hope they don't repeat counting to ten so frequently in Nong Khai. :(

Your Thai language counting must be very good 747man.

His counting in Lao/Isaan up to ten must also be excellent.
