This gentleman did my original AC installation and has been doing my AC service/maintenance for about 10 years. He has his own business. He has also done repair and service work on my washing machine, water cooler, water pumps, and house electrical system. He speaks some English, but might be best to have a Thai speaker contact him initially. He's a knowledgeable, fair fellow. His name is pronounced Pai-raht. Phone number is 0625733878. Good luck. Tell him Ron and Nang from Nong Muen Thao recommended him.

Same chap who just cleaned and checked our units today. He also installed an LG inverter unit for us about three years ago. A gecko fried the control board on that unit last year so he ordered up the replacement board. Took three days and was the same price/delivery as I found it on Lazada. Charged 500 baht for his time.

On the east side of town but can go to anywhere.

Had our LG done last year (1st time in 4 years since new). Completely stripped off all the plastic took out the fan cylinder (couldn't believe the crap that was attached to it even though I clean the filters regularly), pressure cleaned the lot then pressure cleaned the heat exchanger (attached a tray under to catch the sludge). Pressure cleaned the compressor radiator. 450 Baht a local team, so I guess they are everywhere.

He downloaded an LG diagnostic app to my phone, press a button on the remote control for 5 seconds and the wall unit plays a tune which the app translates to all the A/Cs parameters. Handy to keep an eye on the units efficiency and/or faults.

Our guy has just got too greedy!! He comes from Udon. We had him here servicing the 2 ac's last Friday and charged 2000 baht.
Will have to look for another so if anyone knows of a tech around the Ban Nakha area please post the number.

There is a shop which has air con units for sale about 100 meters past the Holy Mary School at the Ban Phu turnoff on the main Nong Khai highway..
I would think they do servicing also.
Will call in next time I am passing and ask as I live at Na Kha also.

Went to the shop near St Mary's today and got a card so we can call them next time the ac needs servicing.
500 baht per unit plus whatever else the might have to do.
Thanks for spotting that wee shop. I must have passed it hundreds of times.
