A builder coming from Pattaya built a house for us (my wife and me) in Nong Wua So.

It cost us around 650,000 baht for the house.

Thank you Parrot. I have lived four years in Pattaya but, as you know, Phlooy wanted to live near the family so I am here... and I enjoy the region. UDONMAP is the most interesting source of informations on all subjects. Thanks to all peoples who write about Udon Thani.

I see you were asking member Nongwausoguy about his house and plans the other day but he no reply as yet , and now you are trying to ask same question via a different route, bacause you cant PM him yet....his HOUSE was 64 talang met, or 8m x 8 metres, thats how I understood his post to read..NOT HIS LAND..

I cant see your house plans online, so hard to comment, are you sure your land is only 50 telang met???

also I think you have to post or answer afew more threads/posts, to be able to then PM someone..it might be 10 posts, but you are only 9 posts.. just answer my post and then try PM Nongwauso..

I just googled Talangwa to see what it meant , and your post to Nongwauso was there..its only a day or two old, so maybe he not online everyday to answer your question..

Photoman, as maaka says you need 10 posts and over to move up one group and use the pm system. I will merge these posts onto the original topic that Nongwausoguy started.

Here is where we live in Nong Wua So... It is the second soi after the market... The first one is called Non Sawang โนนสว่าง (that's the Temple's Soi), the next one is our Soi but a very little Soi, in fact the last before going out of the part of Nong Wua So around the market. Sorry if I'm not on line everyday, I play golf smetimes! Thank you for the french words. Merci beaucoup!

Like the size and price, and looks like the builders did a good job (normally, Quality Assurance isn't a Thai strong point.......neither are right angles).

Lots of houses both Thai and Farang popping up around Nong Wua So.

Would be nice to get a good builder in the area (fair priced), actually looking for someone that does fixes and decent wood work.

Fixes-wall cracks, electric wiring and leveling (more cement work fixing right angles around the house).
Wood Work-ceiling, kickboard and small (and I mean small) outside covered padio.

Forgot to add:

Someone that won't cause more damage then they fix!!!

Getting tired of having locals fixing stuff around the house, only to make it worst or causing more damage.

Also, at my limit on cleaning up after them....empty cans/residue and cig butts littering the yard!!
