Canada, as with many other countries, know it is in their best interests to follow the U.S. lead. Economically and politically it is in our best interest to do so. Khun papafarang, why would you think it would be in Canada's best interests to follow another country such as say China? That makes no sense at all. You may be an anarchist, although that is debatable, but you surely are politically naive.

Here's a big opportunity for you. Provide the name of one country that does not put its own interests first. The Special Administrative Region of Hong Kong does not count.
Why would any country follow another country ? The UK for a start , we knew it would bring terrorism to our shores, we knew it would create hate towards us, we knew it would bring refugees by the millions. None of which was in our interests.don't know why you would bring China in your sinophobia is getting to you. Politically naive  .I don't have any political views except their all w**nkers, which is not exactly a political view is it. You don't quite get it do you , I'm an anarchist so I don't actually believe in politics , I don't believe in voting, I don't believe in paying taxes. I don't believe in god given rights because I don't believe in god. Do you really think that if there was a political anarchist party I would follow them ? That would be an oxymoron. What I do believe countries and people . Thailand is perfect for me , a government that has no interest in me, no one asks me for taxes, no one comes knocking at my door to get me to vote for them so the can have a well paid job , no Mormons of jahovas witness's knocking on my door talking BS. But that don't stop me from commenting on the woes of the world. If you have the time watch hyper normalisation . an excellent study of how the world really is.
They lie,we know they lying, they know we know their lying to us ,but they keep lying to us, and we keep on pretending to believe them..Eleanor Gorokhova . that is true of every government .

So can you identify one country that does not put its interests first.

You are not an anarchist as a number of your posts demonstrate. Instead of supporting Hong Kong protests and the Tiaenanmen Square demonstrators, you support law and order as represented by the Government of China. An anarchist should support those who object to a repressive government, not the repressive government.

actually i don't give a rats a## , i do like watching success and failure of such systems. i only sympathise with people that suffer death and destruction brought on by people with politics like yourself.

''An anarchist should support those who object to a repressive government  you clearly haven't a soobydoo do you, what do you know about anarchy apart from the books you read printed by the left and right.
heres an example to keep you up to date .as an anachist ,you telling me who i should or not support is repressive BS.

I see Ms Meng's is home, before the Chief Justice Heather Holmes could issue her ruling. Or did the DOJ know what was coming. :-k

Make sense out of it. They all reach a Agreement, only took them 1,000 Days.

Ms Meng's admits to "making material misrepresentations" (whatever that means in Lawyer jargen ) but does not plead guilty??

A US District Judge agrees to a "Deferred Prosecution" until December 2022. I think this means they will just lose the Case File in the next 14 months :-k

2 Canadians magically appear on the tarmac in Ottawa, after a three year holiday in China, to greet their newly elected Prime Minister. \:D/ Must have been an overnight, thing. Hmmmm! only 5 days after an election. [-( [-(

Smiles all round and pats on the backs. Everybody is a Winner? \:D/ \:D/

I don't think Ms Meng's Case File will ever see the light of day, again, if not, only to surface for 5 minutes to be Stamped in Red "CASE DISMISSED" :-k

I can see, Ms Mengs Private Jet, having a pair of J-20 escorts, when she travels in the future. :-k

The World is a must safer place. :-k :-k \:D/

Should I be congratulating the Canadian Prime Minister? Ms Meng has some very powerful friends. She even makes KP's Thai contacts seem very light weight.
