U.S.A. Produces Oxygen on Mars

Post by Laan Yaa Mo » April 23, 2021, 8:51 am

This is amazing. The good old U.S.A. was able to convert carbon dioxide to oxygen on Mars. The oxygen is enough to allow a person to breathe for ten minutes.

Congratulations. I'm sure the people suffering from Corona in India (during their oxygen shortage) are very happy knowing you can produce oxygen where it's NOT F*Kin needed

Personally I think it is good, as we may need that technology in the future, even on this Planet. \:D/ \:D/

As to someone's questionable comment about "India and its peoples needing oxygen more", he may wish to know that Indian Government Department allocated a 2020-21 Budget to the ISRO of USD 1.89 Billion, for their Space Research and Travel. As far back as 2014 the ISRO sent an unmanned mission to Mars.

The Wikipedia Link below lists Planned Space Missions by ISRO from 2022 to 2024 - All seven of new one. They have been up their (in space) a lot, over the past decade, probably looking for a way to populate Mars down the track

Point being, if Indian Government doesn't care about its own people, given it has all surplus financial resources to go searching and traveling in space, (including orbiting Mars), at the expense of providing oxygen back at home to its people, then really why should anyone else care. Any lack of oxygen issues in India and the consequences on its people, rest at the feet of the Indian Government of Mr. Modi, and how they choose to waste their money on their ambitions. [-( :-k

The same can be said for many over ambitious Governments, who don't have the financial capability in reserve.

If they can't find the money to spend at home, caring for their own people, (this applies to all Governments), then WTF give it away to Others. :-k :-k Donations should not be expected by Governments, as they seem to be these days.

The Constitutions of most Countries, or Charter which the Government of the Day is bound to adhere to, are written in such a way that, they are, "First and foremost for the care and protection of the People in that Country". :-k :-k Is that not correct ?

The later part of the Post is a little bit of topics, I know, but in part a response to the second Post

You seem to be a little short-sighted. Future generations might be happy about this little step for mankind and giant leap for their Martian future.

Actually, I am thinking of travelling a little bit further, just to get away from the future Rat Race on Mars.

Just in the the process organizing my Visa and Flight.

It seems not to be classed as "Offensive" anymore and gets used on a regular basis on UK TV without censorship.
Can only assume it has now been accepted alongside the dozens of other moronic words that have now been "introduced" into modern language

I think a few moons of Jupiter, Saturn, Neptune and possibly Uranus might have oxygen. Some of the temperatures might be reasonable too owing to internal heating systems. It's worth a visit if you're headed that way.

Yes LYM,

Just looking for enough Fuel and then I will be off this F..ing Planet (the way it is heading) as quick as I can. I wish.

The Indians will be heading to Mars along with their Covid-19 variant and I will be going in the opposite direction.

Don't go in the direction of Venus or Mercury.
