Seems there is a lot of wishful thinking going on here. The polls in 2020 are much more sophisticated than in 2016, they look at the electoral college more carefully, they look at voters who intend to vote as opposed to registered voters and the pattern has been very consistent.

In the swing states, Biden leads in every one, Florida & North Carolina are both fairly close

It looks for all the world that it could be a very decisive Dem victory

There are wild cards. Trumps Covid if anything seems to be working against him, nobody believes the truth is out there and his stunt of the drive by was outrageous. If he bounces back, people will think it is a stunt, if he gets worse he will be a lame duck if not a dead duck

The most disturbing wild card is a serious dispute on the results if it is close, if it is a major dem victory that will be hard to overturn, if it is relatively close I think it may get very ugly.

If Trump loses all swing states it will be 366 to 177, that is unlikely, but it shows how lop sided the competition is if the polls are anywhere near correct, Trump is toast.
