Maddie McCann Breakthrough.
Re: Maddie McCann Breakthrough.
Not sure if it was law before Maddie's disappearance but it is against the law in the UK to leave children without adult supervision. Not sure at what age the definition 'child' is no longer relevant for that particular legislation.
Re: Maddie McCann Breakthrough.
I think Dad is Scots but Mum hails from Huyton. I don't read the Guardian.
I didn't know that. I'll borrow Jack's hat and ask if you could provide a link as I'm interested.
And who would you define as the English media in opposition to, say, the British media?

Forget about the hat westers - start here https://www.bbc.com/news/uk-15860071

Re: Maddie McCann Breakthrough.
Thanks Jack and I hope you're keeping well.
I had to look up taxonomy - now I know.
There is a difference between describing the British media in opposition to English. Maybe the Daily Express and the Daily Star versus the East Anglian Daily Times are good examples. I take your point, though.

Kinda same difference as an Australian and a New Zealander. A Maori and an Aborigine. Simples really.
