Tourism Tax on the Table Again

With another full blown outbreak in China , and the city of Jijan in full lockdown .
Where do the TAT think these tourists are going to come from .
I dont see many long haul passengers arriving anytime soon . Even if they can afford the ticket , would they want to risk sitting on a crowded plane for hours on end , wearing a mask . I wouldnt fancy that much .
Add to that Thailand is no longer a cheap destination , and hasnt been for many since they decided to let their currency grow to a ridiculously high figure over the last few years . So who are these tourist , and where will they travel from .
