Millions of orchids are being cut and thrown away daily in Thailand, the world's largest exporter, as demand for them plummets due to the Covid crisis.
The orchids either sent abroad or used locally at places like hotel's or for special occasions have seen demand fall by 95%.
For now growers are concentrating on keeping the farms open hoping for an upturn in business later in the year.
