Thai leader asks billionaires for help solving virus crisis
Thailand’s leader says he will appeal directly to the country’s 20 wealthiest people for assistance in overcoming the coronavirus crisis.
Prime Minister Prayuth Chan-ocha said in a televised address Friday that the government alone cannot solve the health and economic challenges posed by the pandemic, so other sectors should join what he called “Team Thailand.”
Note: there are 27 billionaires in Thailand

How about Thaksin.
He is included in the top 20 Billionaires.
He might be given a pardon if he donates enough.
He was good friends with a certain Individual
Trump would give him a pardon for sure.

Just been talking with my son who is following this on the Thai Media.
He said in the Prime Ministers speech he has hinted Thaksin could be involved.
He said the prime minster will make an announcement on Monday.
Thaksin is 16th on the list

Oh yes invite the owners of 90% of Thailand so that they can << acquire >> the remaining 10%.
Many , if not most, of the billionaires made their fortune by corruption and on the back of slave labour, Thai and foreign. They massacred the environment, depleted the natural resources, etc.. And now we want them to save Thailand, the same Thailand they cheated for so many years. What a joke.

Just wondering what response the good general will get if some of the 20 have business interests in breweries, and the like, where he has imposed unrealistic restrictions (be it through his provincial lackeys).

Or they could just cut the defence budget by 50% and redirect the money to the health service .
What a shame Flipflop was not a doctor or scientist .
