The Natives Are Getting Restless

I suspect we are likely to see a lot more of this in the coming months, particularly after CV-19 blows over.

Globally students have been the harbinger of change in oppressive or disengaged, elitist governments. The French student riots in the Sorbonne in 1968 being a case in point where at one point Charles Dr Gaulle fled to Germany. However, after 6 weeks of national discontent with a claimed 22% of the population up in arms or on strike, they won a concession that involved parliamentary disolution and new elections. Guess who won with an increased majority?

Unfortunately, students don't have a history of winning in Thailand either.
