Just one of many indicators of a Countries worth (Below) the Social Progress Index (SPI). The SPI has 6 No Tiers
Thailand is in Tier 3 with a World Ranking of 70 and a score of 67.31 out of a possible 100
India is in Tier 4 with a Work Ranking of 100 and a score of 56.07 out of 100, some 30 spots below Thailand and with some real classy bottom of Tier 4, Friends/Countries (Refer Item 5 below)
But before we get to the SPI, let's look at some other indicators that define the Country (India) as a whole and in part the people that the TAT is hoping will save their Tourism Industry. The following is India's best endevors towards building a Society.
, lets just hope that they dont spread their Vision.
1. Caste System: I just wonder how a Country 30 spots below another in Social progress is going to help that other country improve itself?
particularly when that Country (India) had for over 1,000 years (yes 100 years) and still maintains a Caste system today, one where the "Rich Indians" (the Saveers) openly discriminate against their own people, i.e. the lower caste people (such as Dalits - Untouchables). Some might wish to argue that India's government outlawed the Caste system/or made it illegal in India under Article 15 of its Constitution, in 2010, but in reality it still exists throughout India and is still openly practiced.
I don’t see any Dalits holding Government or Political positions, some 9 years after Article 15 was introduced.
Must have been a simple oversight on the part of India's legal & political elite. Highly unlikely that you wll see any Dalits getting an exit visa at India's end to travel to Thailand. By the way, who do you think kept and keeps (i.e. still employs) the Dalits. despite the Law under Article 15, - the "Rich Indians".
2. Child Marriages: This is a Country (India) that still leads the world in forced/sold Child Marriages, notably many between the age of 15 – 19 years old and eve younger. Too hard to comprehend, but this link says it all.

I saw a BCC Programme on this one year back. Decided to just turn it off. I would have to think Thailand would want to learn anything from India on this subject. How do you think buys these Child Brides, the Dalits, I think not. More like the "Rich Indians" (the proclaimed Saveers of the Thailand Tourism Industry)
3. Child Bondage or Enslavement or Trafficing: Do your homework on this and the current ongoing practices in India. Two years back the number of Inidan Children reports to be in Bondage or Enslavement was in the region of Millions (and not just one Million). Just one Article on Indan Children in the Brick Kiln Indiustry. Who contrils this and who makes money from it, guess what, the "Rich Indians".

In July 2018 Reuters Reported that India is home to the largest number of slaves globally, with 8 million, followed by China (3.86 million), Pakistan (3.19 million), North Korea (2.64 million), and other **** Holes?? How many of the 8 Million in Idia in Slavery were Children, well thats anybodies guess, but It would be more than one. Well done India.
This certainly is not Thai culture
4.Corruption: Then there is the “Corruption Perceptions Index (CPI)”. Whilst Denmark and New Zealand are perceived as the least corrupt countries in the world, ranking consistently high among international financial transparency, while the most perceived corrupt country in the world is Somalia, ranking at 9-10 out of 100 since 2017. Thailand Ranks 99 out of some 180 participants. Sh.....T, India Ranks 78. Maybe the Indian can help Thailand improve its Corruption Standing in the Works. I seriously doubt it
5a.Social Progress Index: The index combines three dimensions
Basic human needs
Foundations of well-being
The SPI has 6 No Tiers
5b.Extract: The Social Progress Index (SPI) measures the extent to which countries provide for the social and environmental needs of their citizens.
Fifty-four indicators in the areas of basic human needs, foundations of well-being, and opportunity to progress show the relative performance of nations. The SPI measures the well-being of a society by observing social and environmental outcomes directly rather than the economic factors. The social and environmental factors include wellness (including health, shelter and sanitation), equality, inclusion, sustainability and personal freedom and safety.

Call the above Racist, if you are Naive, but it is not, these is Facts
Now for all the Naive individuals out there, who have never been to India and never worked in a society littered by them and or their cultural thinking and their lack of humanity, start throwing your Rocks at me.
I seriously doubt whether the Indian society as a whole or in particular, the groups of Indian Males who wander the streets of Pattaya looking to touch up the women for free and who can’t get a s...gg back in India, could offer anything of value to the Thailand Tourism Industry (TAT).
