I first visited Thailand in 1995. As the years passed I became more informed about the various aspects and facts about Thailand including the weather.

Thailand seasons have been described as hot, very hot and hot and wet.

I believe that May season in Thailand is within the very hot season.

Why would anyone expect less that "very hot" May weather in Thailand?

So why this confusion or surprise about "very hot" May weather?

In my experience temperatures north of 40C are no so usual.

It's been 40-44 degrees here for 4 weeks solid , there was a time this went on for 6 weeks ,what i find funny is the forcast's , (eg , it will be 35 with a real feel of 41 ) my gauge always will ,measure the 41 as an example , the respite is in ,raining for 15 hours now , nice relief
