Farang banned from Temples and Buses
Earlier today it was reported that some Thai temples had reopened to the public but tourists (foreigners) were banned from entering. Now it would seem farang are also banned from using the newly reopened bus service, I shouldn't thing either of these situations will worry too many foreigners but it's a worrying trend. What next?

I don't think banning Farang from Temples will be applied much in Udon Thani, certainly not the Temple down my wayvincemunday wrote: ↑June 11, 2020, 6:42 pmEarlier today it was reported that some Thai temples had reopened to the public but tourists (foreigners) were banned from entering. I actually laughed then, it certainly sounds like his kind of post.

Sadly no, it is not me , I do not expect logic in many Thai actions therefore rarely comment on its application or lack thereof.

Re: Farang banned from Temples and Buses
I was also out visiting temples with the family to pass the time last weekend, no issues. On the other hand, if they want to ban me from temples, wouldn't phase me at all. Not sure that would help with any efforts to increase tourism though, good luck to them.

Your lack of self-awareness is stunning, KP - given that you are far and away the most consistent commenter on UM on this point.

I imagine UT copped a fair dose of your nonsense also, when you were blessing them exclusively with your presence.
