Re: UK News
Yes, that's a mighty small 2 metres. Her Majesty needs someone keeping other people more than 2 metres away. She might be getting on a bit much to do this herself. The golden rule, of course, must be to keep Boris Johnson more than a kilometre from her. He's extremely reckless when it comes to health issues.

Re: UK News
Had a LINE chat with my buddy back in Lancashire last Sunday. He's been classed as an essential worker since the get go and he has nothing but contempt for the "jerk". First there was the panic buyers which meant he couldn't get a loaf of bread for over three weeks. The sight of piles of spoiled fruit and veg tossed out 10 days after the panic really pissed him off. Now we have the vvankers 'protecting' the statue of Churchhill... while picking up 80% of their wages for doing bugger all.
Re: UK News
Even Tories increasingly fear they have inflicted the worst of all worlds on Britain
"For someone who has so incessantly bragged that his government is delivering a “world-beating” response to the coronavirus crisis, Boris Johnson becomes peculiarly shy whenever anyone presents him with direct questions about how his government is doing in comparison with the rest of the planet. Recently taxed on why British casualties of the disease are amongst the highest in the world, the prime minister swerved the question by contending that this wasn’t helpful because “we must wait until the epidemic has been through its whole cycle in order to draw the relevant international comparisons”."

Re: UK News
The Guardian, seriously Tam. I would rather go to Diane Abbots house for a more accurate prediction of the future of the UK
Re: UK News
^ Instead of repeatedly shooting the messenger, give us your unvarnished opinion on how well the Tories under Johnson have been doing then. An opinion on the confusing round-robin of perpetually "deeply sorry" cabinet apologists that bring daily cheer and hope to the nation.

My unvarnished opinion is that they are doing their best. They have been coping with something that is unique, just watch the EXPERTS daily change their minds. To just believe the Guardians efforts to shoot down the TORIES but never offer any real alternative. Used to think you were a Jock.

Re: UK News
Wondered why Bojo didnt comment on the fact that Trump disbanded the US emergency pandemic team
Turns out he did exactly the same to the UK version ............ despite (if you believe it) Dom Cummings already predicting "a coronavirus pandemic" in his blog

Re: UK News
No, but some particularly brainless malcontents did spray some nonsense on Robert the Bruce's monument last week. I doubt he had any niggers in his wee woodpile but let's not common sense and awareness of actual history get in the way of a pillock with a can of spray paint.

Re: UK News
Prima facie, a very interesting video.
I imagine that a lot more will be heard ....... confirming, explaining, denying, clarifying, obfuscating, justifying, etc etc etc.

Re: UK News
The video makes the Johnson government look like a banana republic government but we haven't yet heard the government's side of the story. It seems very appropriate that there's now a Johnson blimp.
