Pollies as usual cant even get the same result in 2 sentences
is it 70% or 80% or something in between

"“Once you get to 80 per cent vaccination, it is against the county‘s interests not to open up,” he said.

Mr Morrison stressed that the state and federal governments had made a “deal” with the Australian people that restrictions would ease across the country once vaccination rates reached 70-80 per cent."

I was reading an interesting article in The Daily Beast that suggests why white people don't like being called White people.

You are not a horse. You are not a cow. Seriously, y'all. Stop it," the FDA tweeted from its official account on Saturday, alongside a consumer update detailing why the drug can be unsafe for humans.

Ivermectin, which is not an anti-viral drug, is generally used to treat or prevent parasites in animals.

Go for it you bunch of loonies
ye will have no worms or ticks

Patients who overdose with ivermectin can experience nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, low blood pressure, allergic reactions, dizziness, problems with balance, seizures, coma and even death, according to the FDA.

Spencer Elden, who as a baby appeared on the cover of Nirvana's 1991 album Nevermind, is suing the band, alleging he was "sexually exploited" by the nude picture, which has become one of the most enduring images of alternative music.

The image shows Mr Elden as baby, swimming towards a US dollar bill on a fishhook.......

.... While interpreted by most as a nonsexual image of a child, a filing on behalf of Mr Elden in the California Central District Court alleges it amounted to "commercial child sexual exploitation".....

Shouldn't he be suing his parents if Mr Elden is looking for a quick buck?

As his parents were friends with the photographer I find it hard to believe they didn't give consent
Geffen were concerned that the infant's penis, visible in the photo, would cause offence, and prepared an alternate cover without it; they relented when Cobain said the only compromise he would accept would be a sticker covering the penis reading: "If you're offended by this, you must be a closet ***."
In August 2021, Elden sued Cobain's estate and the surviving members of Nirvana, claiming that the use of his likeness on the album cover was done without his consent or that of his legal guardians, that it violated federal child pornography statutes, and that it resulted in "lifelong damages". Elden said that, by refusing to censor the artwork with a sticker, Nirvana had failed to protect him from child sexual exploitation
One could also read into this statement that Eldon has just reached his 30th birthday & realised he's done nothing with his life so now wants to do more nothing & get a cash reward for doing it

You’d have thought C19 vaccinations to British citizens residing in Thailand would have been a worthwhile project to sponsor without having to be so “right on”

A good article in the Economist about the continuing onslaught on the English language by the easily outraged.
BODIES WITH vaginas” is an odd way to refer to half the human race. Yet it was the quote that the Lancet, a medical journal, chose to feature on the cover of its latest issue, telling readers that “historically, the anatomy and physiology” of such bodies had been neglected. After complaints about dehumanising language, the Lancet apologised. But it is not alone. A growing number of officials and organisations are finding themselves tongue-tied when it comes to using the word “woman”.

I suggests the word "Sheilas" replace "bodies with vaginas" and perhaps use "Chads" for those with sausages between the legs. Just ignore the feedback.

Schools in the NT could pave the way for LGBTQI inclusivity under a bold plan that recommends teachers avoid gendered language and activities.
Progressive guidelines set to be introduced across Northern Territory schools will encourage teachers not refer to students as “boys and girls” under a plan designed to boost inclusion.

An emotional son has recounted his visiting mother’s “diabolical” situation since arriving in Australia, with authorities attempting to deport her.

Michael’s mum Claire, 64, arrived in Perth from the UK on Monday evening, with the family looking forward to being reunited after three years.

They waited for her at the airport, but she never appeared.

had not paid her 10 pounds
