Christmas Dinner 2015

Post by ajsp9 » October 7, 2015, 4:14 pm

I wonder if anyone could recommend a place for traditional Christmas Dinner, which falls on a Friday this year and oddly enough, also on the 25th December?

I did hear a rumour that Fuzzy Ken was offering a 3 course for 695 THB, but as yet, this unconfirmed rumour has yet to be substantiated.

Any suggestions or confirmation of the above ?

:D

Irish Clock still have one, but could be booked out already. Bookhouse is no more, so that's out. Kinneree may have one but not sure. Chris's Place a possibility, but would need to book early. Most have given up now as customers book seats and then don't turn up. Expect to pay a deposit if you find some where ....

yes I will do turkey's as doing one for myself anyway. I will wait for feedback as I was intending to cook 6. probably do as sets for 4-6 people, Yorkshires, mash, roasts, veg ,cranberry sauce, plus Christmas puds ect. collect Christmas day at 12 .o'clock , 50% deposit so if your wife leaves you before the 25th I don't end up eating turkey curry for 2 weeks

You are not supposed to eat it alone, aren't You?

Prajaktra Design Hotel even renamed their Christmas Dinner into a "European Christmas Dinner" because in their shopping chain there was no Turkey.
Well done, Turkey does not yet belong to Europe.

So the Irish Clock, providing the usual full Xmas Turkey Dinner with all the trimmings at only Baht 6xx appears to be the best value deal currently available for Xmas Turkey traditionallists. As advertised on Red's sponsored (!) thread, there will be three sittings on Xmas day.

Just a rhetorical thought. What is the point of having both a "Xmas Dinner" AND a "Xmas Dinner 2015" thread. Why not merge the two.

747man.Now there's a very god idea; although, in my case, for New Year festivities From where did you order the Duck? Dieters?
