I don't do this often, but I had back to back lunches, first alone at Dose Espresso, then today with my wife at Dose Factory. For a restaurant that's been in business over 3 years now, it's so nice to know their standards have only gotten better.
I had the beef salad yesterday with a side of rice, polished off with Dose cake and macchiato. I thought their rice wasn't up to par....mentioned it to the waitress and posted a message (non public) on their webpage.
When we went to the Factory today, the head waitress walked up to our table and apologized for yesterday's rice. We ordered black spaghetti with clams and a dish of garlic sauteed shrimp.....with a side of rice (back up to par!). We also ordered a side dish of calamari that was most excellent. Beefy calamari and plenty of them for a side dish. The waitress brought over 2 dishes of dessert....a white custard topped with a variety of sliced fruit....complementary! I was going to have a cuppa, but declined to leave room for an encore of the calamari.
Long my favorite restaurant in Udon....especially for special occasions and friends.

I had brunch at Dose yesterday.Eggs Benedict and a Macchiato. The service, food and coffee was first class.IMO it sets the standard for coffee shops in Udon.According to the staff member, the owner spent several years in Australia and has based her business on what she was exposed to whilst in Sydney. If you are seeking excellent coffee and Farang food It's worth visiting. If you are a Cheap Charlie avoid.

There are two places

https://www.facebook.com/doseespressoth/
https://www.facebook.com/dosefactory/

I went to the factory, same company from what I can tell.

They had an all you can eat buffet last month, I was in pattaya so I missed it. I hope they run this promotion again

At the risk of sounding like a broken record.....another top-shelf lunch at Dose Factory today. Great food, great service, great atmosphere. Every dish was great. The thick calamari appetizer is superb!

I love their Rhubarb Soda drink, refreshing and available at both locations.

I was brought up in the "rhubarb triangle" which will mean nothing to anyone!!

For me though, Dose's banana chocolate drink is a bit of personal heaven. One of my 5 a day (!!) mitigated by the cholesterol inducing whipped cream. Definitely one of the best places to eat in Udon.

From time to time I get starved for the ambiance that a museum offers....'cept, in Udon, there's not much in the way of museums. I usually solve the craving with a pitstop at one of the two Dose's in town. Today for my post-lunch cuppa, a cappuccino along with a slice of tiramisu with some chocolate drizzle and a few slices of strawberry, along with a sprinkling of powdered crack. Better than a museum.

Always enjoy your Dose posts Parrot.

I fear 1 day the server will crash if they ever change the menu big time. 555

Another great lunch at Dose Factory today with friends: pepperoni pizza, seafood spaghetti, shrimp and fried rice, french fries, calamari, garlic bread, couple of Singha's and cappuccinos. Great service, great food, excellent atmosphere. Thanks, Dose!

The Dose across from Maeya has been there for a couple of years now, and we have never had a bad coffee, snack, desert or meal there. Terrific ambiance, too. Ditto the other location. Really good quality stuff, although, for deserts only, my favorite place is still Sugar Room across from Landmark.

Dose Factory remains my go-to place when I take someone out for lunch. Today, a Swiss neighbor and I had an excellent lunch, and machiatto to wash it down. I was tempted to go for the opioid drink, but I didn't have a prescription.

Here's Dose Factory (not the one across from Maeya).

It's nice to see Dose (Factory) is still running the same high standards of service and quality of coffee.........7 1/2 years now. I went with a friend today for a cuppa and a piece of dessert......a Friday, post lunch, drizzly day.....pretty much a full load of customers.

Fully agree, DOSE Espresso is top notch, eggs Benedict are of 5 star status, staff are attentive but non-intrusive.

After a long walk around Nongprajak today, I took my godson, visiting from Sicily, to Dose Factory for lunch. Aussie steak salad, carbonara, garlic bread, buffalo wings, calamai, basil beef over rice, rubarb drink, affogato, thai tea, and a split piece of tiramisu. Perfect service, great food. Packed at noon. Dose's been in business for quite a few years, but they've maintained their shine!
