That was really helpful ...... by the time I moved the map onto somewhere I recognised, I'd forgotten where the bloomin' "X" was :-"

Hard to believe it's around twenty years since I first enjoyed your culinary expertise, and the unique and relaxing warmth of your hospitality :-s :-$ ; and here you are certain, once again, to re-establish yourself as Udonthanis' best, and definitely most popular, 'Mine Host' Great to have you back Steve. :D

See you around noon on Monday, to enjoy a quiet & relaxing lunch and chinwag with you and Mali, before the 'young' new generation ex-pats arrive, hopefuly intent on cleaning you out of your stocks of food and drink. \:D/

Spoke to Steve, his place is approx 200 yds past the old one on the same side, following his 8 month sabbatical enjoying his pottering he and mali have now decided to treat us all to their normal excellent hospitality coupled with their always excellent food, and this side of the Ring Road is a tremendous bonus, with the traffic getting worse .

the old one on the same side,

Correction: Travelling from the ring road, the new restaurant is situated approximately 200yards BEFORE the old one, on the same side of the road.

Bit early in the day to be 'under the weather' Paul  ; hope you were not due to teach later! [-X

Doesn't it depend on which way your traveling if it's 200yards before or after the old S & M place. :D

I drove by the other night, take note, the usual road off ring rd is under construction, and I needed to come in the back way. A couple ways you can do it, but all require coming in pass Lake Garden development, I think. Plan accordingly until road work done. If familiar where Mali's Kitchen was, it will be hard to miss, as well signed.

drove in from the ring road at around 12:45 today, 16 Sept. road is open. Best bet is to go past Steve's place, do a U-turn and then park along the wall of the temple opposite Steve and Mail's restaurant.. Steve and Mali are still the same.. Dedicated attention to each customer with Mali drifting back to the kitchen to either supervise or cook your food.. Good atmosphere, good food... They will do well as there are a large amount of Farang on the East side who will frequent a place with good service and moderately priced food..
