The Corner Restaurant (Steve & Mali)

We're here at the new bar from Mali and Steve called the Corner Restaurant, just a few doors down from where the Tbar was. The first impression of the bar is great, it's a huge bar with lots of seating that's well spread apart so it feels extremely roomy, to be honest I think the bar front itself is a bit small with only room for four people, going by what we've seen in the past that's not going to be anywhere near enough. All in all this is a great start, we need a decent farang bar and this will fit the bill nicely.

Just for the record, there is an opening night celebration this evening where free food will be offered.

Pleasant visiot to the new eatery, food as usual excellent Mali on hand offering felicitations as before

She states she IS still cooking all the pies and things she did before in the old T bar . Sorry did not enquire about sausages but saw Crumpets being sold ,
Spacious place for sitting , bar maybe smaller than before but you can sit on a chair and drink and eat with your friends , not so far to fall if you get drunk methinks .

Visited today, excellent meal as usual, for guidance, it's located immedately on the sharp bend before Steves old place, aircon not fitted yet, coming tomorrow according to Steve.. Great to have them back for their good food again.

Been there 3 times in the last 2 weeks. Food as good as it was when they had the T Bar.

I wish anybody well who takes on the risk in starting a new enterprise. In that area there is a lot of competition, and a few casualties. PJ's closed two weeks ago, T bar no longer a bar/restaurant, Gossips only opened for a few months then shut, the Beer Garden new on Nong Bua. I wish them all good fortune, but a busy corner in Udon.

Personally, I will direct my entertainment budget in the area as it will be great to have an alternative to soi sampan

not really a risk when Steve n Mali are involved .. always a winner winner chicken dinner .. nice atmos , great food and Steves chit chat n banter is second to none .. excellent hosts i wish them well .. AGAIN
