Local 4G, 4G+ and 5G coverage

Post by tamada » June 29, 2023, 9:49 pm

While working on some data SIM options, I came across this handy website. You can zoom in to your locale and get an idea of what you can expect with the different providers.

AIS has the densest coverage with TRUE runner up and DTAC a close third. I was investigating the availability of NT Wireless up here as they have some unique band and carrier aggregation offerings for pure data options.

Showing a 5G (4 Bar) coverage at my home in the rice paddies. Will be interesting to see when I get back in a few weeks with my new 5G Phone!

Off Topic:- Getting plenty of 5G in the main city and country locations near Adelaide but only 4G and worse further out into the bush. I'm staying some 120 km from Adelaide and have to use an illegal booster to get a mobile and data signal of any sort. No NBN (the, BS, Australian Governments gift to data equality through out the country). Well done Thailand!

Are any of our members using the NT Wireless (ToT) Thunder data SIM for internet in and around Udon Thani?

Is there a ToT shop in town? I know AID, DTAC and True all have their flagship stores in the mall and Telewiz for the AIS outstations.
