Good advice, I found Firefox was getting too bloated and slowing down a year ago so shelved it and went to Chrome = No problems.
TIP:

Open Chrome on your computer. Click on the three-dot menu at the top right of the screen and select the Settings option. Click Advanced from the left side menu of the screen. Select Privacy and Security, and turn on “ Send a “Do Not Track" request with your browsing traffic”

Firefox has crashed 27 times so far today….
you may find help here:
https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/produ ... ems#search
search term: crash

or check the Mozilla crash reporter:
https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/mo ... shreporter

or just switch to google chrome.

The error has been reported across a number of applications (including Chrome), so Firefox may not be the problem.

You mean Firefox has been reported as crashing on other o/s and not only Windows? That would suggest a Firefox problem no?

FWIW, Firefox updated a couple of days ago on my W10 brick and no problems encountered so far.

No, I don't mean that.

As I said, the error has been reported across numerous executable files in Windows - including Firefox, Chrome, and others:

https://www.google.com/search?q=chrome+ ... c9HsAXKasM

Which suggests it is a Windows problem.

Could be a hardware or registry issue. Try https://silicophilic.com/exception-brea ... x80000003/ see if it fixes things?

FWIW since my FF updated itself to ver 89 onwards I have found it to be the slickest and fastest browser of the others. Running it on Win10 and Linux at the moment without issues.

Likely to be one of two possibilities.

A windows corruption or malware, I would suggest the latter. Where are you? If you are anywhere within 30 minutes of Kut Chap. I could drop in a fix for you.
I had a bumper sticker in Texas that read 'Beam me up Scotty'. I often wish I could find one in Udon Thani

Were BACK ........

Mrs Statts was going into town so she took the lappie with her and a note with the error.
Had it back and working after a couple hours, but all error and sign on details in Thai even though language was English.
Took back to store only to find not open yesterday as gone to KK for funeral and shop closed with lappie inside
Finally back and in English today
THanks to everyone for your help/ideas/wishes

And at no time did I even think about taking the p*** outta the Jocks :-$

Haven't a clue, but from the screenshot Jack provide earlier it seems like quite a common problem with Win 10 so "technology glitch"
Of course there are those that think it COULD have been Brexiteers teaming up with DM and the Jocks on a "peace and quiet mission"

PS havn't got a VPN? so that's the "porn" discounted thanks to that nice bunch of guys in BKK
