Fantasia Lagoon water park, Korat

Post by papaguido » March 10, 2008, 3:17 pm

The water park is located on the ground floor of "The Mall" shopping center. Entrance fee is 80/50 bt., additional fees for inflatable flotation tubes which are required for one of two of the larger slides. Also, swimmers caps are required for everyone entering the water and are available for rent.

There are food stalls conveniently located inside the park, but food can be brought in from outside.

The water park has play areas for all age groups and lifeguards were present through out the park. I noted that they were very observant and quick to enforce park rules. IMO this is probably the safest run operation that I have encountered in all of Thailand.

Must have been lucky, this past Saturday the park was busy but not packed. Will keep that in mind for our next trip.

Anybody ever do the trolley tour? Apparently there's a trolley that goes around the city. Makes stops at places of interest, including the zoo.

I wonder how long a entrepreneur comes along and opens a similar enterprise near Udon Thani?
