The new SF Landmark Plaza cinema purportedly has a few movies showing in English.
Thanks PT25 and the good folks at skyscrapercity.

If anyone goes, how about posting a review of the facilities!

Every last one of those now showing movies is available today on kat.ph (those posted by Piratepedia are typically of excellent quality).

Money is better spent on a great home theater system and capable internet speeds. Of course, I am vehemently *cough* against anyone downloading anything they haven't paid for *cough* and do NOT recommend doing so *wheeze*! [-X

It looks like the English speaking movies might be history. None of the premiers the last 2-3 weeks has been in English. I have contacted SF through their website and asked about English speaking movies in Udon, and wil post it here if I get any answer.

Understandable, when they do show movies w/ English sound track not much of a turnout, guess the cost out weighs the ticket sales.

It looks like we finally have an American movie with English soundtrack in Udon again! SF Landmark only has thai dubbed movies after a check this morning, but Major Central has the new Superman movie with English soundtrack at theatre 7, if we can believe their website.

So those of us who would like to see more English soundtrack movies in Udon, should go and see this movie as soon as possible... :D

In addition to the regular version of the movie, Major also has it in 3D now.

KAT.ph has now bitten the dust.

But like a good phoenix, has quickly risen from the ashes as kickass.to.

World War Z still in English at Major, and also this week`s premiere, Pacific Rim, is speaking English (only in 3D).
SF at Landmark is thai only.

A big week for new English movies as both Major and SF have choices for farangs. :D At Major "The Wolverine" speaks English, and they still have an English version of "Pacific Rim", and at SF "Only God Forgives", an American film made in Bangkok, are the only English speaking choice.

If Major`s website is to be trusted there are surprisingly many movies in English showing this week. This week`s premiere of Riddick 3 speaks English, and so does premiers from the last couple of weeks, Mortal Instruments, White House Down, Kick-Ass 2 and Percy Jackson, and none of them has been showing in English before. If true, this is good news, but I won`t take the blame if someone shows up and the movie is dubbed to thai.
There`s also a Korean movie, Make Your Move, with English soundtrack but it`s had that since the premiere.

No movies in English at SF Cinema/Landmark.
