Thinking of going to the Pattaya Music Festival next month.
Anyone any reccomendations for accomodation in Pattaya?
Dont want to take out a bank loan but dont want a place with 'lots of night time traffic' too !

I believe most of the festival will be around Walking Street so I would like to be within ............ well walking distance of Walking Street (Sorry I couldn't put it any other way)

Thanks

Yep about 10 mins walk to walking street, depending on your pace of course, and of course the diversions on the way can add to the time taken :? .

Not sure that soi 8 and not wanting a place with 'lots of night time traffic' quite mix though, if my memory serves me correctly...

One of the momentous events of Pattaya is the Pattaya Music Festival. Music lovers all over the country throng to Pattaya and dance at gay on the white sands of the sprawling beaches of Pattatya.
Pattaya Music Festival invites all music lovers, including tourists to enjoy the first summer's breeze. Among many other entertainments, Rock, Pop, Jazz, or Hip Hop can it be fun for all. Pattaya Music Festival can be a wonderful way to enjoy your weekend.

If my memory serves me correct... They would set up the stages on Beach Rd., between Pattaya Nua Rd. and Pattaya Klang. But, that could have changed, it's been a few years.

My only advice is to book early. Pattaya will fill up for this weekend.

There are some decent and inexpensive places on Soi Diana.

We've been staying at the Pattaya Centre Hotel on Soi 12 lately. Executive Superior room at 1500 baht seems to be the best value. Hotel is close to beach, shopping, restaurants and the nightlife.

I always stay at Sabai Lodge on Road.
The rooms in the Sabai Wing which do not overlook the pool cost only 1100 Baht
