Some Forum Help

Post by jackspratt » November 1, 2023, 10:57 am

If you want to respond to someone else's post which you have quoted in your response, please start writing your pearls of wisdom AFTER the "[/quote]" of the words you are quoting ie
These are some random words from a random poster, that I wish to respond to.

This is jackspratt's response, which is being incorrectly attributed to said random poster, and confusing the f*kc out of everybody reading it, because it has been written inside random posters' quote.
This is where jackspratt's response should start.

Well done js. I was wondering how some members manage to get this wrong. When one clicks the quote button, one needs to left-click anywhere AFTER the final closed quote mark and type there.

Yes, JS. Great point for easy readability and figuring who said what. I don't think we have to be IT professionals to manage to quote things correctly.

It is better to remain silent and be thought a fool than to talk and remove all doubt
