Yes, we are back up and running. We'll be keeping a close watch on things as we continue our upgraded program of both hardware and software.

Right you are, skipper, full steam ahead, KP!

They said you couldn't do it but here we are, after dry dock refit, on our sea trials, good work! :pirate:

You guys at UM must have had a hectic time yesterday - out all day here in the sheep paddocks of S.Aust. Yep, I spent the day in GT93's "Gum Boots"!!!

Yep another day of either not getting in to the forum, not getting beyond first page, not being able to reply, or reply being timed out, at various times yesterday.

Suspect it must be one of Bojos mates just making sure we cant post (Alex has been quiet lately :-k  )

Canada's largest server, Rogers, was down for 19 hours yesterday. This meant no internet, no ATM service, no emergency medical/police calls, people with smart devices could not open garages, house doors, air conditioners, a concert with 'The Weekend was cancelled, et al

It will be interesting when what really happened to the Rogers' system, it almost certainly was not a server down, these systems have banks and banks of servers with geo-redundant mirrored system, it must be something much deeper.

Some tech experts have suggested that it was the result of a cyber attack from China or Russia. For the moment, Rogers is silent indicating that it is still conducting an investigation. The company probably hopes that with service up and running again the public will soon forget and not ask any further questions that might prove embarrassing. This is at a time when Rogers is trying to take over another internet company.

I'm not sure if this is a technical issue, or otherwise - but it seems the function listing members who have been online in the past 24 hours (on the Forum main page) has disappeared.

Nope - just an observation and a curious mind.

It is also sometimes handy to know who has been online, and whether therefore they may have read a relevant post.
