Adding pictures to classifieds is no different than any other part of the Forum.
If the UdonMap system says that the photo is too large then that is your problem.
You will need to resize (by reducing the pixel density) & then add it.
iphones & high end android phones produce high quality photos, but they also tend to be large in size as well.
If you are using Microsoft as an OS then use a free program like PIXresizer to reduce their size & then post it..

Thanks Bob
Can I ask a supplementary if not too much of a nuisance
I assume with iPhone 5s you can't amend photo quality or resize after taking the photo
Do you know if possible with iPhone 6 or 7 to resize?
Thanks again for prompt reply

I'm not too up on the iphone (not much of an Apple fan to be honest).

However it looks like you can reduce the resolution of a taken picture very easily indeed - by mailing it to yourself, of all things!! :D

With all apple devices or is not very difficult to chance the size of the picture.
There are a couple of ways to do that.

The First way is to take a picture that has the subject as part of the picture and crop the picture.

This is an example from apple map. It has been cropped

The second way is to use a resizing app, there are quite a few some you have to pay for some are free.

I this is an example using AutoResize

And another using Pixelmator

An alternative way is to use a link to a picture then there is no limit to the size and resolution.

This one is about 1GB and is being hosted on my server in Japan, the down side is that if my server is off line you get nothing.

I use. https://postimage.org/ . very good, simple to use and can automatically resize for forums
after you down load your picture just look doow the list and click onto hotlinks for forums ,it then copies and go back to your post and just paste

That has the same downside as my, or another, hosted image has.

As long as the server remains, and does not change the link, it works but if it goes away so do the images in the posts.

Also as they used 1.8 petabytes of data within 30 days it is a service that has some serious problems with its business model as you can see from their blog. So while it looks as if it will be around for a while, long term is less sure.
