I suspect it may be about time for some investigative journalist to do some research into where some of these politicians have financial interests......... it seems that from day 1 Phuket has had more than a fair slice of the re-opening/sandbox cake and that 7/11 Family mart etc may have been given a "get out of jail free" card on alcohol sales

Did see on Asean Now that apparently it will be another 4 weeks before the government changes current Covid rules - so no more tourists except for the Phuket sandbox...... High season well and truly scuppered. Of course, not unusual to get them change their minds again every few days!

As Thailand does not recognise Easter mean it will never open so long as it is being run by the likes of the Czar and Anutin.

According to the CCSA statement, outwith the all-blue provinces, there are "some districts in other provinces that are considered pilot tourism areas" and it appears that businesses that have obtained the local SHA approvals can operate the same as the ones in the blue provinces. The graphic in the accompanying article has 16 blue dots in otherwise orange provinces and suggests that Meuang Udon Thani is such a district? Probably that needs to be clarified/ratified by the local or municipal public health office who may decide (along with the RTP) that it's easier just to let things tick along as they are rather than start busting places. OR they could take an even easier path and shut 'er down which will need enforcement in lieu of payments for turning the proverbial

Otherwise, you can stock up at the usual outlets between the usual hours and get bladdered at home, as usual.
