Well , this is interesting . Just had the local health people from Banjan come to the gate to get registrations for the vaccines . Took my PINK ID card number for identification and was told because im over 60 , will be offered the Astro Zenica vaccine free of charge in about a months time . Free because of the pink card . Happy days if it comes to fruition .

went over to Wattana in an attempt to register for the vaccine. Full up they said and asked me specifically if I had the "pink ID Card" and stated that with the card I could register at any hospital whose books weren't full up....

I live on the east side off the Sakon highway near the horse racing course. No health teams around here..

2 days ago we received a knock on the door to register for Covid vaccine.
My girl registered and then they asked myself if I would like to do same as they said it covers everyone in the household
For sure I said, they only asked for passport for ID registration.
I have a yellow book but not asked for.!!!
I think every village is different...There is no set rules as who can and who can not.
I have lived in the same village now for 10 years but I do not think that should make any difference but who know's..!!
Let's see if I am called up with my girl when the time comes to get the Jab.

our village on the east side didn't hand out any flyers nor do a walk-by houses. By word of mouth we learned our village health volunteers had the registration paperwork. We went by the house of the had health volunteer, picked it up, got it all filled out and need to drop it back off. I'll go the extra effort and attach copies of my pink ID, Yellow book, the wife's house book and Id.. I've low confidence anything will come of it but ya never know..

Missus came to me this morning with a registration doc for Covid vaccination. She said all Falangs can have as well as Thai's. Was told it was the Chinese vaccine so, 'no thanks babes' will wait till private hospitals have one that works properly and will gladly pay for it. But seems in our area Falangs are being included in the free jab scheme.

Effin hell! Mrs Dero has just come in and reported a case in Ban Chan - our Tambon main village.
This fool has made 2 recent trips to BKK to visit relatives whom have now gone positive he roamed around several villages being an arrogant idiot, no mask, and now created havoc. Many homes and mom/pop shops there and in my village taped off for 14 days.
The locals are looking for blood, Mrs Dero says this guy will not be setting foot in the Tambon for a very long time. To make things worse my Step Daughter was THATS WAS managing a minimart opposite to the idiots home. I have asked that she be tested again, she was done 10 days ago under a Clinic program.
More to come.

…..More to come.
thanks for the info.
too many selfish idiots running around here.
that's why my wife (suffering from diabetes - injecting insulin) is still under MY personal lockdown.
what is worrying me is the fact that most covid-19 positive cases in detention have NO symptoms.
that means they might even have no fever. so this temperatur measuring all around does not help to identify those causing a threat to others - right?
anyway - i have no reason to end the wife's lockdown soon.
keep her at home and away from contacting others.
reduces many more side problems anyway.
:D

I can see some trepidation for the older foreign resident who, for reasons of not requiring any medical treatment, has no medical records anywhere. Others who don't have insurance or suffer a lack of funds may have "shopped around" whenever medical treatment was required and maybe went with the lowest bidder. In this instance their fragmented medical records could either be at several hospitals or, if the hospital chose to destroy them as the patient was a one-off a long time ago, at no hospital.

Most private hospitals will have signed up a patient and issued an ID card with a patient number. I have maybe 3 or 4 of these including hospitals in Pattaya and Bangkok. I did get an investigative endoscopy at AEK Udon a long time ago so I will see if I still have their frequent flier card.

I understand the Udon Thani Govenor has closed the Land Office for 3 days after finding 6 people working there who tested positive for Covid 19.
