Does that include a mask on a motor scooter with or without a skull protector.

Does your attire on a motor scooter with or without skull protector have anywhere that germs can escape from?

I've already watched the govt presentation in English on my tv. However, it does not normally provide info about Udon. That's why I'm asking for info about Covid cases in Udon Thani.

Once again does anyone have information about the number of cases today as well as places where the infection has been found.

Would really appreciate an English language listing of Covid cases today here in udon. I am especially interested in locations that have been identified as problem areas.
what would such a list help in any way?
it would only show where the virus had been detected.
not the area is the problem but the people moving around is the problem.
e.g. not the government hospital is the problem but visitors flooding in and out of the hospital.
in other words - if soi samphan is named problem area you might avoid to go there but you may catch the virus around the corner of soi samphan, all depends on who you'll meet.

the savest way is to stay at home and reduce going outside to a max minimum.
not nice i know but no choice so far.

I understand your point. However, it would be nice to know where the virus has been detected in order to stay clear.

There are 2 confirmed cases in Ban Dung reported Wednesday not shown on this map.
I question it's credibility!

The virus doesn't hang about anywhere special. If it did, the bugger would have been eradicated ages ago. Any businesses that are affected will shut for a minimum of three days after "deep cleaning" and reopen. It's people that spread it, not bars, shops, markets, etc..

They publish orders for places to be closed for cleaning just about every day. You can find them (in Thai) on the government website at this link, as well as other ordinances

http://www.udonthani.go.th/2014/documen ... gory_id=18

To translate images there are many apps to extract text such as text scanner. This can be used out and about too. Just take a photo of any document, sign, menu or whatever extract the text and translate it.

Most the places where known infections have been will be on that list. On FB there is many local news sites, provincial government pages, and such, that timelines are posted everyday. If obsessed about it, you can use these to see if were at the same place at same time. The coverage of covid in Udon is amazingly extensive it is just all of course in Thai language.

i'm using this free one here:
https://www.i2ocr.com/free-online-thai-ocr#

works quite well on graphic files.
the clearer the pic the more is recognised
extract the text and send it to google translate
that's it....

^ Good fix there samuel. I was keen to see where and when the city outbreaks were occurring but it's so widespread now, doesn't have the same importance.
