Since the BH construction site butts onto Soi Sampan that had its own infection cluster a few days ago, to me there seems to be a logical progression there. Maybe watch out for strange faces showing up at the more elite and classy watering holes out west?

Probably a timely reminder for members just to stay at home a bit more.

Your Thai wife got her Pfizer shot... Well done...
How did you manage that ? I understood that these vaccination clinics ( Pfizer) were for foreigners.
Just curious...
Stay safe.

Have they changed the rules?

When my daughter was born (all be it 12 years ago .... doesn't time fly) I was told that she could only keep duel passports until she was (20?) after which she had to surrender her Thai passport if she wished to keep the UK one or else Surrender the UK one if she wished to keep her Thai one

Suppose it depends on what dual citizenship means .. holding 2 different nations passports ?? And /or backed up.with the countries embassy if apply outside of that nation .. maybe changed Statto as the Daos daughter is 24yrs and going to the UK next year ..she holds dual nationality...via
Uk passporr with embassy documentation ..
And
Thai passport obtained using NTIDC anf Tabien ban

IM.NOT SURE but possibly the vaccine could depend on the visa status on which the person entered Thailand ..either way it seems very unfair and frustrating n laddas case.

As the numbers in Udon seem to be holding steady/dropping some, I've not paid much attention to the daily tally. But this photo caught my attention:
Today's covid prison count in Udon 325
Total covid prison count in Udon 803
The city isn't including the prison numbers in their daily tally.....only reporting it as a separate line item.

This is for Thailand and not Udon Thani

But of the new Delta case numbers have Peaked, as the first Graph (dated 22 Aug 2021) may suggest and if the Delta variant continues to decline like other recent Countries, then the same trend will suggests that the Total Thailand new case numbers (daily) will come down quickly and may well be below 3,000 per day, by end September 2021. I am guessing. :-k :-k

Again this is for Thailand and not for Udon Thani, but the Country Peak of 21,157 seems to have been reached for the Delta variant and the now downward trend is a good thing, with the last 7 days average down to 14,923

I am not sure but if you stop or cut back on number of tests could that not result in the fall in the number of infections detected by testing? The death rate does not seem to be falling in line with the falling detection rate ( yes I know you dont die immediately if you contract the virus) It just seems a tad strange that detected cases are falling a few short weeks before the Governments stated aim from months ago of reopening the Country. I can only look at the Phuket Sandbox experiment that's been running for just some 6 weeks to see what happens even if there were virtually no cases before the Filthy Falang were allowed back on the Island.

It's all by design. If the government wants to cut the case numbers down to support it's political endgame, all they have to do is cut back on testing. If they need more cases to keep the population under control with fear, they simply do more testing. It happens all over the world!

Your probably right, semperfiguy

But, I live in hope that the downward numbers are somewhat accurate, so that I can get back for a visit to Thailand, at the end of this year. \:D/ \:D/
