I'm rather thinking WHY one would fake being an Aussie as being the more pertinent question, no?

Once again you sit behind your double screens at home as a know all trying to belittle people with your bully boy name calling. You really can’t discuss anything without this tactic.
Your using the wrong bait on me.
In your insular south Sydney supporters world you can only think that was the most important event in Australian history.
I’m sure with you need to always have the last word you will come back with nothing to add.
I’m also sure your a champion sportsman of all codes.
I’m laughing even louder with your reply.
Try the Sydney Olympics as a worthy event.

National Cabinet scraps 100-person venue cap but Nightclubs will remain shut
12/06/2020|14min

Australian venues will be bound by the four-square metre rule rather than a specific headcount cap when states move to the third stage of eased restrictions.

Prime Minister Scott Morrison said the 100-person cap on attending venues would be axed and replaced by the four-square metre rule which would allow businesses with larger venues to have bigger crowds.

However, Mr Morrison said nightclubs were still “not on the agenda”, revealing he feared that the clubs would not open any time soon.

“Four-square metre rule continues to be reviewed by the medical expert panel and further work is being done on that, particularly for much smaller premises,” he said.

Stadiums which can hold 40,000 or less will be able to open during Stage 3 by limiting attendance to 25 per cent of max capacity.

There you go again. You’ve gone from calling me a lying big mouth to a dope. I’ll just add that to al the others.
There was nothing derogatory about advising you that the SS issue was not one of the most blah blah blah in Australian sporting history.
It’s nothing compared to your personal insults to many UM members that you continued throw out there when comments are made to your know all posts.
You even recently passed off in another thread your ridiculous post regarding an important issue in the day, that Aussie conscripts did not have to go to Vietnam, as a small glitch in your knowledge. You said you got your papers, why did you not end up going.

Your 12 month anniversary as a UM member is approaching.
Be proud you have IMO the best record of using personal insults in such a short time.
Any way you did not acknowledge my Sydney Olympics as a huge event.

It’s the latest streaming service purge amid Black Lives Matter protests and now Cleese has responded.

“One of the things I’ve learned in the last 180 years is that people have very different senses of humour,” he told The Sydney Morning Herald.

“Some of them understand that if you put nonsense words into the mouth of someone you want to make fun of you’re not broadcasting their views, you’re making fun of them.

“The Major was an old fossil left over from decades before. We were not supporting his views, we were making fun of them.

“If they can’t see that, if people are too stupid to see that, what can one say?

“Fawlty Towers has given a large number of people a great deal of happiness, why would you want to stop that. It reminds me of the definition of a Scottish Presbyterian as someone who has a nasty, sneaking feeling that someone, somewhere, is having a good time.”

Why is it some hate someone somewhere to have a good time and laugh ?

Active cases of the virus drop from 420 to 143 in two days. All states now less than 100 cases. Will soon be 25,000 at the footy at the G. Good old Aussie song that goes with the thread: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GWfliMUqy64

Government extends travel ban to mid-September
13/06/2020|1min

Australians won't be able to head overseas until the middle of September after the government quietly extended its travel bans to September 17.

The restrictions on international trips were set to expire on June 17, however, the health department confirmed it had been stretched.

Travel bubbles could be given the go-ahead if deemed safe including the expected proposal with New Zealand.

The ban will allow some travellers to cash-in on insurance payments which require the government ban to be in place.

On Friday, the country's immigration minister Iain Lees-Galloway announced New Zealand would make exceptions for more prospective travelers too.

People seeking to move to New Zealand for less than six months would need to demonstrate a "unique" level of experience or a specialist skillset, or travelling for urgent work on a project or event that wouldn't be able to go ahead without them.

The work would need to be in relation to an intergovernmental agreement, a major infrastructure project, an event, a Government-approved programme, or any other work of "significant benefit" to the economy.

Those who wanted to stay longer than six months would have to meet one of those earlier criteria, as well as two out of three further criteria.

They need to earn more than $NZ106,000 ($A99,722) a year, be essential to a Government-approved event or programme of significance, or be essential to a research programme.

Applying for an exception also incurs fees.

For businesses it can be several hundred dollars but individuals won't pay more than $NZ50 ($A47) per application.

New entrants will still have to undergo a fortnight of isolation.

A NSW police officer has apologised after he was caught on camera flashing what appeared to be a white power symbol.

Now this is the standard okay symbol

At the moment it is in the too hard basket
Just a wait and see what will be required
All my travel for this year has been cancelled
