That delivery is not enough to do all the people in care homes, so those wishing to (and well enough) to travel, will not get part one until Feb at very earliest, then part two a month later, so any hols before Easter are very unlikely

Anymore accidents like in Chang Mai n Rai and you can right off the vwhole of 2021 .. reports of new case(s) in Bkk if correct the daily protests could possibly become a major virus melting pot .

^ We appreciate that maybe you're depressed at Donald being fired but that's no reason to start hoping for failure in Thailand's so far exemplary performance in keeping Covid at bay.

Maggie Maggie Maggie .. the Iron lady
Boi does the UK need some one with her balls n grit in times like this ... Boris could save himself IF ..thats IF Tam ..he GETS BREXIT DONE .. preferably without a deal

Even with the huge success of the Thai handling of covid it wont stave off the economic destruction due to no tourists.. no amount of subsidized domestic tourism can make up.for all those rotund semen ladened sex tourists with pockets bulging with cash to scatter .

Doom.n gloom ..no reality

That is the funny part about Thai s returning using border crossing
It is closed so any crossing is illegal
Must be lots of money or favours changing hands in the wild north west

Hi, I just don't know how anyone can accurately predict the likely numbers of Tourist and how long each will stay on average, at this time. Particularly when you don't even know the exact rules under which they will need to enter and also which Country that Tourist is likely to originate from. It's just too early to forecast the 2021 yearly Tourist number, at this stage, in my view. :-k

Better news but if the currency exchange rates keeps on its present downward slide NO one will be coming here The USD just lost another 0.02 baht per dollar bringing it to 30 baht per $1USD
This is after the Thai government said it was working on devaluing the Thai Baht.

Dec 2018 30.85 x $10,000 USD = 308,500 THB
Dec 2019 30.32
Dec 2020 30.08 x $10,000 USD = 300,800 THB

A difference of almost 8,000 THB

Opposite with the Aussie dollar. Been over 22 for a little while, took ages to creep up from 18.
Maybe Aussies will be coerced to come with a better rate. They are virtually Covid free and would be welcomed.

Have to agree. Who is going to come on holiday to a Country that has closed down its tourist infrastructure, is imposing draconian quarantine requirements (rightly IMHO) on tourists at huge costs for effectively 2 weeks in jail and then a 2 week holiday where you are constantly monitored (parole) Then God only knows what you are faced with when you return home. I do believe that 2021 will also be a write off as far as International Tourism is concerned except maybe a few 1000's from local adjacent Countries, but that will be the extent of it.
